It is made in the USA.
Attachment: Legacy MOE Slots
Other Specs: NOTE: MOE accessory slot must be enlarged by user to allow installation. Instructions and hole saw included, and a drill is required for install.

Customer Ratings & Reviews
Good QD Sling Mount
The QD attachment arrived on time and was precisely as described. The installation process was straightforward, and the included hole saw made it easy to attach to the handguard. The attachment is solid and provides a secure fit. Additionally, my QD swivel fit perfectly. I highly recommend this product and would not hesitate to purchase another if needed.
Solid and low profile. Rotational restriction is a good feature
The installation instructions are well-written and straightforward to follow. Initially, I was concerned about drilling the hole accurately, despite being competent with similar tasks. However, the process was surprisingly simple. First, the foregrip is removed, then the mount is attached in the desired location (a picture even provides a recommended position). Once secure, you can drill through the QR hole and into the plastic grip, ensuring that everything remains straight and true. The QR hole helps keep everything correctly aligned during drilling.
I was somewhat taken aback when I discovered that I needed to drill a hole in my handguard to install this attachment. However, the kit did include a properly sized hole saw for the job, although I found that the aluminum saw struggled and produced smoke while making the cut. Perhaps I used it incorrectly, but if I need to relocate the attachment to a new handguard in the future, I will likely use a different drill bit. Despite this minor issue, the QD mount itself is of good quality and works just fine.
Works great now after installing it
Now that I've installed it, the attachment works flawlessly. However, the only issue I encountered was with the aluminum hole saw that came with it. It wore out before I could even drill the hole on my Magpul Handguard, so I had to use a regular drill bit to complete the job. If this happens to you, be sure to use the exact drill bit size required, as the screw holes are positioned very close to the hole you're drilling. If you make a mistake, the screws may not hold the handguard firmly or correctly in place.
This low-profile QD attachment is fantastic, and Magpul has once again produced an excellent product. The drill bit included worked perfectly for me, and those who encountered issues with it may have been using an inadequate tool. I used my Dewalt 20v lithium brushless screw gun on drill mode speed setting 2, and it took no time to drill the hole. You can reuse the bit without any problems. I highly recommend this attachment over the MLOK, as it offers a more secure grip on the handguard. Despite the need for drilling, the attachment is not permanent. You can easily conceal the hole with a rail section or another attachment, and it's not that noticeable.
Product is made well and works for the application intended. The only complaint is the drill bit that comes with it. I read all the reviews and tried one of techniques. It did not work for me. Magpul should waste their money on supplying this bit. Either reduce the cost or add a bit that works. Other than that it is a good product.
The low profile and anti-rotation features of this mount are excellent. I used it to attach an FAL butt stock and used the included drill bit. However, since the bit didn't go entirely through the stock, I used a Dremel to remove the remaining material and attached the mount using wood screws instead of the provided hardware.
Great low profile QD swivel mount
This swivel mount is excellent. Note that you'll need to drill a hole for the swivel post, and although the package includes an aluminum hole saw drill bit, it's preferable to use a Brad point drill bit for plastic/polymer or a regular twist drill bit for metal. A helpful tip is to drill the hole first, then insert your swivel into the mount, position the mount so it's centered, and finally drill your screw holes with the swivel in place.
Trust Magpul To Make It Work!
The magpul moe qd sling mount is the coolest lil piece of metal you can get, low profile and strong! It did come with a cutting tool to drill the hole, you also had to get a round file to shave off some material of the Handguard to make it work! Once it's on, No turning back because it's ON for good!
exactly as described and very easy to install
I haven't installed it yet, but the item was brand new in the packaging and just like the other exact ones I have bought from retail stores in the past. It has a specific use, follow it, and you will be happy. Yes, you do have to drill a small hole in the forend. Yes, the little drill bit is included. No, it isn't scary or hard to do.
Solid and low profile. Rotational restriction is a good feature
Instructions for installation are clearly written and easy to understand. I had initially wondered how I might successfully be able to drill the hole accurately, even though I'm pretty capable of such things. It's all in how it's done. The foregrip is removed first, then the mount is attached to it in your chosen location (a picture even suggests a spot for positioning). Finally, once it is secure, you drill through the QR hole & into the plastic grip thereby keeping everything straight and true. The QR hole keeps it all aligned properly for drilling.
