Going for a cheaper option may seem tempting, but when it comes to attachments that secure a sling to a valuable rifle, it's not worth the risk of causing damage. I chose Magpul for my firearms as they are a well-respected brand in the firearms industry. While there are other American QD makers, Magpul provides quality at a fair price, making it a more cost-effective option. Although Magpul may not be as cheap as some overseas brands, their products are reliable, and the company stands behind their product guarantees.

I rely on Magpul QD sling attachments to ensure my safety. I've tried various brands, including YHM, low-quality knockoffs, and UTG, but now all my firearms have Magpul QD mounts. These attachments always perform reliably, holding strong and never failing me. In contrast, cheaper QD brands have proven to be disappointing. I've experienced issues such as poor fit, accidental detachment under pressure, and even bending. However, Magpul QD has proven to be durable and reliable, even after intense use and abuse during training classes, navigation exercises, and personal training trips. For maximum trust and security, go with Magpul QD, it is the best qd swivel you can buy.

I wanted something for my sling to add a QD swivel to my Magpul MOE SL Carbine Stock Mil-Spec and Magpul MOE Fixed Carbine Stock Mil-Spec buttstocks. This is a perfect fit for my needs. Works great on the outside of the buttstocks.

Used with the Magpul MS1 Multi-mission sling, these swivels do the job. Easy to attach and remove. Fits perfectly with a 1.25" sling. The finish is matte and blends well with the finish on most AR-type rifles. I would say these are just a little pricy but worth the cost.

I use this swivel to replace a lost swivel from my Blue Force Gear sling. Fits sling perfectly. The lock mechanism is fast and easy enough to accomplish with gloves. Used on three-day hunt and never disconnected recommended. Works as advertised in harsh environments quick, easy, and reliable.

This Magpul QD swivel does the job. Exactly as it describes, just make sure you have the tools for a proper install. Solid piece of metal that I’ve put through training and low crawls. If you’re looking for a single (or single to double) sling mount, this won’t disappoint.

Works great. Easily snaps into place, or with a press of the button, it's removed from the mount. Makes removing sling quick and easy. I have these mounted on two ARs, and this swivel allows the separating of the lower and uppers very simple.

What can you say about a QD sling swivel? The important thing is that it works and be reliable. You don't want a caster popping out under pressure. There's no worry about that here — typical Magpul quality. Easy choice. Buy it.

I bought this Magpul to replace a no-name Chinese swivel that would pull free from a Magpul MS4 sling socket. This Magpul QD Sling Swivel has no issues and is easy to manipulate as would be expected.

This QD Sling Swivel from Magpul ( although a bit pricey--comes one to package) is of noticeable quality steel construction. Ball bearings are more comfortable to snap in and release than most of the less expensive ones. Fits snug/firm will not pull out. Works best with the Magpul QD swivel receptacle. Some of the cheaper swivel receptacle mounts snap in different depth and will not lock-in. The best rule is if you purchase Magpul item A go with Magpul item B for best compatibility.
