Installed this Magpul qd cup on a Magpul shotgun stock for a Remington 870 Police Magnum. Super easy installation and works like a charm. I'm using it to put a Magpul sling on this firearm. Like the title says, another great product from Magpul.

Needed a QD sling on the MOE buttstock on my AR-10. Using the magpul sling mount kit type 1 was easy and fit as designed. It works well but seems awfully expensive.

Finally bought the Magpul type 1 sling mount to upgrade my Magpul MOE Fixed Stock Mil-Spec to attach the Magpul QD Sling Swivel to my sling. It seems to work well. Should have done this sooner. Sad, they do not have the Type 2 kit as an option on Brownells anymore to make it ambidextrous.

Installed nicely into my new X-22 backpacker stock. I added (2) of the Magpul sling mount kit into the stock. Pick your side, left or right, tap the female QD gently down into the stock, put the (1/8" Allen) bolt thru, and spin the nut on the other side. It was a little tricky working with such a small nut, but I was able to get it started with my pinky than a small 5/16" socket will fit down into the recess on the other side of the stock. If you get Type 2, one of the QD sockets will be threaded, eliminating the need for the nut. The Type 3, which comes with some of Magpul's AR platform stocks, is also threaded like so. These allow for full 360 limitless swivels, unlike some other QD sockets which don't. In my opinion, Magpul should/could have made the Type 1 kit have a threaded QD, and make the Type 2 add-on be the non-threaded QD. This would eliminate the need for the nut. Lastly, as far as fit to the X-22 stock, it was solid, carries, and balances well with the MS4 sling in both the assembled and taken down the package. The rear QD post is very close to the shoulder pad, so depending on how it's swiveled when you shoulder the stock, it might interfere with your clothing, or you'll at least feel the swivel; not a big deal.

The Magpul sling mount kit type 1 is Easy to install, made by them for their stocks. Works with all standard QD sling mounts. I put two on my new MOE rifle stock so I can move my sling forward or back, depending on how I want to employ it. As with all their products, trustworthy, reliable, dependable.

While not designed or advertised for this purpose, I was able to utilize this handy QD swivel mount on my ACE Skeleton AR rifle stock. I have been unable to find a purpose-made swivel mount. You will need to use a short Panhead screw of the appropriate thread pattern that can be acquired from your local hardware store (the supplied screws will not work in this application). The Magpul mount will accept any standard ball-detent QD swivel. Installed with Loctite, this mounting has proven very secure.

I wanted to install a QD disconnect on a KNOXX adjustable stock, and this Magpul type 1 sling mount, with a little drilling, made a perfect fit and function. I now have a Magpul QD sling that works with my 870 home defense shotgun.

Bought it for the Mossberg stock, and it work's entirely with a Blue Force sling. Magpul should have included this with the capital, though.

Works great and installs easy. Allows use of quick detach slings but only allows partial rotation so it ensures your sling doesn't twist up. Recommended for any ACS or UBR stock.
