This is a great fixed AR stock. It is a simple drop in part. Remove the original stock. Take the bolt out of the new one. Slide the new one on and tighten the bolt down. 5 minutes max. It is a very sturdy ar15 fixed stock. There are no rattles or wobble to it. It is similar to an a2 stock. This Magpul Stock is definitely worth it if you prefer a fixed stock but want something different than a standard a2.

My rifles are for plinking, varmints or targets, and I want consistent patterns. A collapsing stock can twitch or flex at the last moment and throw your shot in different directions. My AR with a 16" barrel is already short, I don't need it shorter for my use, and I'm not standing guard where I need it tucked away, so I chose the Magpul fixed stock commercial for accuracy over compaction. I'm also only 5'7" so I don't need to stretch it out for a 3" eye relief. I did add the thicker butt pad because I let it conform better into my shoulder to tighten the grouping.

This isn't my first Magpul stock, but these are my first ar15 fixed stock. I bought a couple of these so my rifles could be void of "evil" California features. Great fit like all the Magpul stocks I've used. The length is about the same as an AR with the mil-spec MOE stock in position 4 (position one is totally collapsed). I'd happily recommend to friends

I bought a thicker pad for a little longer length of pull, The Magpul fixed stock fits me like a glove. Even if I didn't live in a restricted state I'd keep this Magpul Stock on, fits perfect and unless you have different multiple sized users or wear body Armour, this stock has cleaner looking lines, fit flush with the receiver, no exposed buffer tube and best of all, no rattles!

I installed this Magpul moe fixed stock onto a PSA PA10 (Palmetto State Armory's 7.62 NATO AR). It fits very nicely; it is solid with no wiggle and is very comfortable to shoot. I am 5' 10" tall, and though the stock is a little bit short, it doesn't bother me at all. A consistent sight picture is easy to maintain; my cheek to stock and shoulder to stock weld are very comfortable, and shooting from the bench both supported and unsupported is comfortable.

I just received my new ar 15 fixed stock. Install was an absolute breeze. It took all of a minute to put on. This Magpul fixed stock does provide a lot better check weld to the firearm. And I love that there is no more rattle from my adjustable stock. The length of pull is quite a bit shorter, even with my smaller frame. But don't mind that I just will adjust my scope position after I get a new bolt .223 rifle and put a 1x4 on my AR.

I wanted to run a fixed stock, so I wouldn't keep changing the LOP. I measured the length of pull before I purchased the item and found I liked the length. I'm 5'7" so this thing is nearly perfect in length. It makes it very easy to drop the weapon into my workspace for mag reloads and clearing malfunctions. I went on snug and locked up nice and tight. This ar15 fixed stock ain't going anywhere. Love how they send you two collars, one for a QD rear sling point over the endplate and another for a seamless transition for the receiver to stock.

I used this to replace my OEM 5-position AR stock on my Del-Ton echo 316. The OEM stock had some wobble, made noise, PULLED MY BEARD HAIR (!!!), I never used the adjustments, and after reading around, I learned that the Magpul fixed stock has a length of pull similar to the 2nd or 3rd shortest position on an adjustable OEM AR-15 stock, right where I like it. Easy install, solid construction, lighter weight, NO BEARD PULLING (!!!), great colors, no unnecessary bells'n'whistles which never get used. ALSO CHEAP. I love it.

I find the Magpul MOE Fixed Stock to be just right - not too long or too short and I am 6'1". I've also noticed that my CTR stocks to start to loosen after a while and develop some play... clearly not a foreseeable issue with this stock. The stock fits me perfect, and that's good news as I could care less if it's adjustable to fit anyone else because it's MY rifle. The only "criticism" (or rather, suggestion) I have is that this stock was not made to take on the snap-on CTR cheek risers. That would have made sense.

fits well , works great , pretty straight forward installation.

After removing my rattle trap adjustable stock the Magpul fixed stock slid right on. Tightening the provided screw secured the stock to the buffer tube making for a solid and noise free stock. The stock feels very solid and sturdy. The length is shorter than an A2 stock but a little longer than a fully collapsed adjustable stock. The length is just about right whenever wearing a heavy jacket or shooting from odd positions while seated flat on the ground or from a tree stand. I haven't had the opportunity to try it when coyote hunting yet but it should work out great.

This stock for the price is amazing.
