Magpul ZHUKOV-S Stock AK47/AK74
For those who are looking for a no-compromise AK folding stock, then look no further than the Magpul Zhukov-S AK Stock. This particular AK stock puts aside all the traditional shortcomings that are associated with the stock for the AK models and provides a nifty folding, collapsible stock that has many features.

This AK Stock will fold on the right side for better compatibility when using side-mounted optics, which makes the Zhukov-S even more versatile. The sling mounts offer a front, rear and bottom option for greater versatility when being used. The bottom offers a 1.25” sling loop while the rear provides optional sling mounts for the Type 1 and 2 and uses the QD swivels. The front provides left side rotation in a limited fashion, but also uses push-button QD swivels if the one-point sling is used, but the swivel is not included.

So yall shipped really fast. I will use yal from here on out. The stock itself is awesome. It is shorter then the fixed stock I had but can be longer if adjusted. Feels really good on the shoulder.

I really like this stock quite a bit. It mounts solid, is ergonomic, and looks cool. I do wish they had given the latch for the telescoping section just a little more leverage by extending the bottom of the "button" downward a bit more. There is ample room for that in the design and I don't see why they made it so short, which requires a bit more force to actuate than should be necessary. I tend to leave the stock at it's shortest length, so that's really a very minor issue for me and would maybe be an issue for someone else. It would be great if they made a mid-grade version that had no telescoping stock and skeletonized the design of the stock a bit more to give more clearance for the trigger etc when folded. You CAN operate the gun with it folded, but you won't enjoy shooting it much like that.

Great AK Stock! Don't make the mistake that I made. This is my first ak-47 build, and as it turns out there are like three [ at least ] different types of these rifles, and on top of that it's rare to find any two that are identical!! they mass produce many of these guns in third world countries and as I found out the hard way, all parts are not interchangeable. Yes, I ordered the parts for the wrong weapon, although in the description of the pieces I ordered, they should have fit, so everything had to go back and be exchanged for the proper parts. Just waiting on one more part and this one will be finished! So my advice is to do your homework on your rifle [even if it means taking it apart] and make sure you know what you're dealing with before placing your order!!!!!

Put a complete AK Zhukov stock set on an I.O. STG2000. This buttstock fits right on. Total mounting time, including removal of the original stock, was about 10 minutes. Stock is rock-solid fixed or folded. Yes, the gun will cycle with the stock folded, and this is good to know......just in-case. BUT, a folding stock is like a folding knife. It doesn't do you any good until you lock it into place. File that away in your tactical memory banks. There is one Q.D. mount at the front left. However, MAGPUL sees fit NOT to mold-in Q.D. mounts anywhere else (on just about ALL of their stocks). I find that annoying and expensive. Still, I do not downgrade it for that because this is the best A.K. stock available. Has solid LOP adjustment as well (I like it short). Plus, you can add cheek risers for optics. It just goes on and on! Get it! You won't regret it!

The Fit of the Magpul Zhukov folding stock was great on my old WASR 10. Very easy to install and absolutely solid as a rock. It is by far the best stock AK stock I have ever used. The height is great, and it lands on my shoulder in the perfect spot every time. Well worth the money.

It's not exactly a drop-in mod for milled receivers, though, but it fits nice and snug on my Century C39v2 with some very minor filing. After that, the installation was easy.

I bought the Magpul Zhukov-S Folding knowing that it would be awesome.. and it is. Rock-solid.. but the only problem it was designed for a stamped receiver, and I have an Arsenal milled receiver. Sadly I can't use it and hope to save the grief from another buyer who may have a milled receiver.
