Just what I needed

The MOE SL Handguard is a great alternative to the standard A2 handguards. It offers ample options for attaching rails or M-LOK accessories without the bulk of a full rail system. I am very satisfied with my purchase and look forward to testing its durability.

Installing this magpul handguard rifle length over an Adams Arms piston system on a 20-inch barrel was a breeze. It offers a budget-friendly alternative to aluminum rails and includes a mini rail for accessory attachment. The handguard is sturdy and lightweight, so you don't have to worry about damaging it at the range.

The magpul rifle length handguard is a perfect fit for AR15 rifles with a standard rifle-length gas system, as well as DPMS High Profile 308 rifles with a standard rifle-length gas system. No adjustments are needed, making installation straightforward. If a previous reviewer experienced difficulty, it may have been due to a lack of understanding.

I really liked the slim carbine version on my M4, so I decided to try it on an A2. It fits snugly, but it doesn't look quite right on the A2. It might be more suitable for a more modern-looking A4. I do appreciate the texture and would have preferred M-LOK slots, but overall it just doesn't quite match the style of an A2 rifle.

I was having a hard time finding quad rails that would fit my Palmetto State Armory A2 style rifle and cost less than $100. I came across this set of handguards and the price seemed reasonable, so I decided to give it a try. It fits my rifle perfectly and I'm glad I don't have to spend more than $100 on quad rails just to mount accessories. The slim profile of these handguards also helped with scope mounting and made it more comfortable to hold. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great quality item. Looks and feels great in the hand. Matches the rest of my furniture. Had a bit of an issue fitting it at first (not my first AR but my first non-factory handguard) so I reached out to "customer service" and never received a reply. Oh well, I figured it out on the second try though and you just have to be smarter than the handguard. :)

This is a sweet slim, lightweight, durable handguard. It feels good, and it holds up to heat very well. Even under long strings of fire, the handguard never gets too hot to hold comfortably. It's not that difficult to install if you read the instructions. A lot of people complain about how hard it is to put on, but I don't think they are doing it right. It took a couple of minutes to take my old handguard off and put this one on. It's a tight fit, but I prefer it to be that way. It will require you to remove your sling swivel that typically comes on the front of the rifle, so if you want a sling on your gun, you will have to mount some quick-detach attachment. It is slimmer and feels better than the Magpul moe Carbine handguard. It allows you to extend your hand further, too, without touching the front sight base/gas block. Overall a good product

I installed one of these Magpul rifle length handguards on my D.P.M.S. rifle length, heavy barrel AR. Fit and function are flawless. I had a cheap quad rail that made the rifle so much heavier. With this M LOK system on, it feels so much lighter and thus easier to wield and shoot more accurately. I would suggest this to anyone looking to lighten and streamline an AR -15.

Review: I wasn't sure this would even fit my build, but for the cost, I decided to try anyway. Scratch build from parts DPMS pattern LR-308 with Anderson 20" 308 HBAR - Fits like a glove!!! What I love: > 3 positions for M-LOK accessories > easy install > price > looks great, especially when compared against other similarly priced handguards What I hate: > heavier than I expected at 12.1 ounces (rifle length) > M-LOK only three slots long instead of the full length of the handguard. Last thought, had the M-LOK slots run the full length of the handguard, the weight would be less & I probably would have given 5 stars instead of 4.

If you need a rifle length guard this is the one. Locks up tight with no gaps.
