Magpul Rail Light Mount
The Rail Light Mount fits on any standard 1913 Picatinny Rail, is available in Right or Left side models, and integrates with the Magpul XTM panels. It positions the weapon light high and cantilevered forward at the 11 o'clock or 1 o'clock position. This allows a more forward support hand position, keeping the light tucked in close to the bore and minimizing barrel shadow.
A textured thumb ramp is integrated to provide the user an index point, aiding consistent hand placement and light activation. Constructed of reinforced polymer, the Rail Light Mount nearly eliminates all light compatibility concerns by conveniently including everything you need to mount Surefire 300 and 600 series Scout Lights, 1913 Picatinny attachment pistol lights, and all light bodies from 0.75" to 1.03" in diameter via the included set of anodized aluminum mounting rings. Models are available to position the light high at 11 o'clock (LT, Left side model) or one o'clock (RT, Right side model).

I wanted a cheap and straightforward way to put a flashlight on my rifle. This fits the bill. I put a 1" diameter flashlight with the button on end in it. It fits well, is convenient to activate, and provides a comfortable place to put my thumb when I don't need it.

I combined this with the Magpul AFG2 on my quad rail and my Surefire 6P, and it is absolutely perfect. The light is out of the way but allows for very natural placement of my thumb on the on/off button on the back of the light while maintaining a solid grip with the AFG2. It is lightweight but rock solid and straightforward.

Magpul products are always top of the line. I have attached this to the Magpul forend on a shotgun to get the light out of my way during recoil. Seems to be holding up, I’ll comment again if things change.

Great, inexpensive mount. I have a 16" carbine with a carbine length free-float Daniel Defense rail, one of the screws on the rail interfered with the mounting screws on the light mount, so I had to move it back a couple of slots. Put a Surefire G2X in the mount. I was worried about barrel shadow, with the carbine length rail, and there is some, but the light is mounted high enough so that looking down the sights, it's unnoticeable and far to the right bottom corner of the light's beam. Mount is rock solid, though, with enough flex to be resilient, but doesn't wobble at all. I haven't noticed any problems after putting a couple of hundred rounds down range.

Magpul Light Mount works as advertised was able to mount my LDI MK5 on it. The only issue I have is that I placed it on my SCAR 16 and couldn't mount it in the spot I wanted unless I removed my front end cap or trimmed the sling mount off. All in all, I'm happy with it just one minor issue.

This is another excellent product from Magpul; installation is quick and easy. The forward light position clears the front sight tower nicely, on a 16" bbl, there is a small shadow of the muzzle in the light spill from a surefire 6P. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking to adopt handheld lights to mount on carbines.

This rail mount is specifically designed to keep the weapon light up and to the left or right of your sight picture. Mine is left side mounted and I love it.

Work's just as advertised! This is a great option to attach and slightly offset a standard multi-use flashlight. Be sure you understand the orientation of the model as there are both left and right available. There is a very easy to install and solid lock up on your weapon. This is an effective option that won't break the bank, for all of us non "operators" out here!
