Magpul SSG Selector Set - FN SCAR MK16/16s
The Magpul SSG™ Selector Set for FN® SCAR MK16/16s is a user-friendly, dual-sided selector for the FN SCAR series of firearms. It was developed at the request of a military unit in need of better control over the selector. These selectors are suitable for both military-issued select fire MK16 & MK17 weapons and civilian semi-automatic SCAR 16S & 17S rifles. They serve as direct replacements for the original equipment manufacturer selectors and do not necessitate any permanent changes to the weapon.
Simple install utilizing existing set screw (not supplied).
Made in the USA.

Great FN Scar Upgrade

The Magpul Dual Sided Selector Set boasts an attractive design and offers a smoother flipping experience compared to the standard selector switches. It is exclusively compatible with FN Scar firearms. While it is not an essential upgrade, it does add a nice touch to your Scar.

I purchased this to accompany the upgraded selector on my AR and it greatly enhances ease of operation with its large lever on both sides. However, I wish there was a middle-sized option available as the large levers can sometimes press into your trigger finger while shooting. Despite that, I would still recommend the magpul selector switch.

Excellently crafted and simple to set up, these are a valuable upgrade. However, a longer and/or sturdier lever would enhance the overall experience. The low-profile bevel could also benefit from a more squared design for a stronger grip.

It is a basic item, and while you wouldn't assume that just a slightly longer selector switch would do anything, it does make you think, "Oh, that's nice. I like that." Which is all that I'm really after when I put something on my rifles. Do yourself a favor, you already spent a few thousand on the rifle, throw $20 more at it with this. You won't regret it.
