A unique, integrated base is hassle-free on any AR, or similar platform. For reliable performance and loads of user-friendly features, look no further.

Features & Benefits of the Vortex Sparc AR:

    OPTICAL FEATURES

    • Fully Multi-Coated: Increase light transmission with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces.
    • Unlimited Eye Relief: Non-critical eye relief for rapid target acquisition
    • Parallax Free: All red dot and holographic sights will exhibit some small amount of parallax. Matching current industry practice, this small amount would be considered "parallax free" and will make a negligible difference in performance.
    • Night-Vision Compatibility: The lowest 2 settings are night-vision compatible.

    CONSTRUCTION FEATURES

    • Single-Piece Chassis: Compact and lightweight.
    • Waterproof: O-ring seals prevent moisture, dust and debris from penetrating for reliable performance in all environments.
    • Shockproof: Rugged construction withstands recoil and impact.
    • Matte Anodized Finish: Corrosion and wear resistant anodization provides low-glare matte surface and helps camouflage the shooter's position.

    Seems to work well.

First red dot for me. i can see were you can acquire your target quicker than a scope. Being old school and using scopes all my life it's most likely me and change that are the problem. the dot doesn't seem to be as crisp as i would thought it should be but seem too work well at 25 and 50 yard shots. easy to use.

I had a gen one vortex red dot that died. The button went to heck and all function was lost. Back then, it was a one-year warranty on vortex red dots. Did I buy it in 2007ish? I boxed it up and sent it in any way. Three weeks later, a brand new sight with documentation that they tried to fix my old one for me. Since they were unable, they replaced it with a current generation red dot. During the Apocolypse. That is amazing. As far as the new red dot... it is SO SO much better in every single way. (The buttons, the battery type, lack of nasty blue tint) For the money, you can't go wrong.

I love Vortex product; this red dot optic is well made with an excellent quality, mounted on an Ar15 but haven't zero it yet or test it; easy to use and turn on and off. I would buy it again.

This is a great red dot sight I can very effectively use this out to 300-325 yds hunting and gets me on target fast at close - medium range especially on coyotes got a double over the thanksgiving weekend , since I got the Vortex SPARC AR I've got 5 coyotes my farthest 287yds I could've let it come in closer my closest one 7yds w/ my Strike eagle but I practice w/ my Ruger AR-556 mounted w/Sparc AR shooting 1gallon water jugs out to 325yds on days w/ 10-15mph wind for fun but it ain't too often I get a chance at longer shots hunting coyotes my longest shot w/ my SPR built 1000 yds when my cousin's horse died, and I had her haul her horse out of the corral and Set where I put my1000 yrd targets at and went to my spot early the next morning. BAM

I had to send a couple of Red Dots back to the company for repairs. I had been looking at the Vortex SPARC AR for a while and decided to order one while mine was in the shop. I came in when they said it would, and I mounted it on my Department M16. I figured that if it holds up to that weapon, it would be a pleasant sight. I installed it and was able to sight it in 9 shots. I usually zero at 50 yards and did so with this sight. I was using a standard 100 yard zero target. I was able to shoot a 3 shot group in the center diamond on the target over and over again. I have since run about 500 rounds through the weapon, and the sight is holding zero just perfect. I am a Patrol rifle Instructor and run my weapon almost every day to some extent. I am happy with this sight so far.

    Sparc AR review

Ok, I purchased the Vortex SPARC AR after researching every red dot on the market. I chose this sparc ar for three reasons. 1) price 2)warranty 3) all reviews said it was the best bang for the buck. I mounted this on my ar15 5.56. I am sighted in at 50 yards. Let me tell you, this red dot is fantastic!! A lot of people complain about that laser projector obstructing your view. I will tell you first hand; it does NOT obstruct my view while putting shots on target. Glass is transparent. The dot is beautiful and bright. It's not a Trijicon, but for 190 dollars, it is a great deal. If you are looking for a budget red dot for an ar15, I will choose this one. BTW been to the range 4x since purchase and has held zero. And I don't baby my firearms

I have this red dot on my AR, its awesome. Price for this quality the Vortex Sparc AR amazing. Its light (if you think its heavy you should do more arm/shoulder workouts), AAA battery is nice, simple to use, holds zero well, NV compatible. I won't buy an aim point because this optic exists. I love it, I would buy it again.

There is very little I can add to the description of this optic that isn't covered already. A huge plus is the variable intensity of the red dot. I have other red dot scopes, and the Vortex Sparc AR surpasses them for quality...you get what you pay for. The lifetime warranty is a factor as well. This one is a keeper.

I love this Vortex AR Sparc. I first bought it just because it was a vortex and all their products are awesome. I hate bandwagoning, but this company puts out some great things and a great warranty. The design is sleek of this dot, simple buttons, easy battery to use and remove. Plenty bright and a crisp dot! Cheaper than Holosun, Aimpoint, and a lot of others but in my opinion simple and easy to use with a great design!

I am impressed with the Vortex SPARC AR Red Dot

So far, I'm very impressed with the new SPARC AR Red Dot sight. Sleek and modern design looks good on any of my ARs. Appears very well made with an excellent mounting system and beautiful rubber armor around the scope body. Optics are very clear, unlike some red dots. There are no knobs, switches, or protrusions on the left side of the scope providing a wide field of view for both eyes open shooting for a right-handed shooter. The 22mm objective of the SPARC AR almost negates the benefit of the lower 1/3 co-witness mount. There isn't enough scope lens above the front sight post. My natural point of aim puts the dot just above the front sight, which is perfect for me. This is by no means a design flaw, its what happens when red dots get smaller and lighter. Overall, I'm incredibly pleased with the SPARC AR and look forward to sighting it in. As always, speedy service from MSP.

Seen two reviews taunting that "Black Goo" is in the right area of the viewing area. This is actually the "Black Cover over the area in which the Laser Exits onto the lens." ALL Red Dots have these exit covers. Some in different areas. But they all have this black covers where the laser exits onto the lens. I actually own one of these Red Dots, and they are as good as if NOT better than the more expensive models. And with a lifetime, NO questions asked to repair or replace for Free without a sales receipt. Where else can you get a great Red Dot at a price that does All of this... Buy one of these Vortex Red Dots and believe me this black laser cover is supposed to be there.........Buy this Red Dot, and don't look back. You will never be disappointed, and the Black Goo is the cover over the laser exiting on the lower right area to make the Red Dot on the Front Lens.
