This is a must-have accessory if you run an electronic optic on your AR-15. Nothing is more frustrating than having your battery die and not having a replacement handy. I carry one CR123A battery and a couple DL1/3N batteries without issue.

The Magpul pmag ranger plate Make grabbing individual mags out of an overcrowded mag pouch/pocket a breeze. I have my LBV with 2 mags in each pocket, one mag in each pocket has one of these to make grabbing that first mag easier. I also use them on my 20 round mags in a contrasting color from the mag to mark different types of ammo, ball, tracer, penetrator, or hunting ammo.

Ordered a package of 3 in black and installed in minutes. If they were In Stock now, I would be ordering a bunch! They make handling a mag easy, and the different colors make sorting by ammo type a beautiful thing.

I have the black ranger plates on all my mags, but I do like to carry a mag or two in my kit with AP green tip penetrators. I use a green plate on those mags. It makes it easy to find in an admin reload situation if you need to punch through something. Sometimes it's hard to distinguish between the black and green, so maybe the tan would work better. Either way, it's nice to have an organized option on the move.
