The Magpul AK Mag Coupler is an excellent accessory. I had concerns about its durability, but after firing a few hundred rounds through it, I have had no problems. The threads come pre-coated and lock up firmly. I have accidentally dropped empty magazines a couple of times, but the coupler has remained securely in place. I am highly impressed with the quality of this product, and I am confident in purchasing from Magpul again due to their great prices, fast shipping, and excellent customer service.

The AK PMAG Coupler is simple to assemble and securely locks into the ridges on the magazine with no movement or wiggle. The spacing between magazines is ideal for both AK and AR receivers, though you may need to slightly adjust the placement of the right magazine to accommodate an AR dust cover or access the safety on an AK. While its durability remains to be seen over time, it appears to be of the same high-quality construction as other Magpul products.

This product receives a five-star rating, as long as it is suitable for your intended use. However, it may not be compatible with certain firearms that have a side scope rail and a RS Regulate Scope mount. In these cases, the coupler may interfere with the scope mount, and if you try to stagger the magazines to compensate, it may block the charging handle on the opposite side. It is important to consider this before purchasing, but if you are using irons or a red dot in a forward position, it may work well for you.
