Customer Ratings & Reviews
Vortex Strikefire 2 For Sale Here
The red/green dot sight is perfect for the money. The mount that comes with it is very useful and good quality. I mounted it on my Adam Arms AR piston rifle. The sight it self was very easy to sight in. For me at 25yards, it was 4in down and two into the right. I dialed in the correct number of clicks, fired the next shot, and dead center the target. It never changed for the next 40 rounds fired. Exact adjustments. The top of the adjustment caps has a blade made into the top to adjust the screw slot. The red was better to see in a bright day. I like the push button adjustment of the on/ off brightness control. I do not know how it would hold up in combat, but it should last for everyday use as most people use it for target shooting and home defense.

Accurate & good sight
I totally recommend this sight. Its good quality and adjustment of red dot brightness so you can shoot even longer range. I just shot deer to 125m with this. And i shot 3 rounds to 100m at shooting range shot holes was only in 3 cm diameter in target paper.
Why Spend More?
Shot Aimpoint M68’s and ACOG’s as an infantryman and loved them both. Now that I’m a civilian and gear is no longer issued to me, spending the money for either of those is not practical. Let’s face it; you probably won’t be using your rifle for combat anytime here at home. I am not a competitive shooter and do not need an optic that costs more than my rifle did. This is a well build Red/Green Dot sight that will serve you well for many years. It’s got flip-up lens protectors that will protect it while being transported in your car or through the foliage. It holds zero and works in temperature ranges almost identical to higher-end red dots. The vortex strikefire red dot sight is lower 1/3 co-witness, which means that you will be able to see iron sights in the smaller 1/3 of the tube, allowing you to keep shooting if the battery should die. I like red dot optics because you can shoot with both eyes open, and no matter where your head is when looking through the tube, you will hit what you are aiming at if the dot is on target (parallax free). The StrikeFire 2 is waterproof and nitrogen filled to prevent internal fogging. This unit is imported but has quality comparable to an Aimpoint. A Vortex flip-up magnifier can be mounted behind it as well, although I do not plan to do so.
I would rebuy this red dot sight.

Best Red Dot sight for a great Price
This Vortex Strikefire ii red dot does it all. I have 3 of them on various guns and have not had a problem with any of them holding zero, and that includes my AR-10. It is switchable red/green and also has a touch button for NVG use. The only issue If you want to call that is that the NVG switch is way too easy to press by accident, and it will make you think that the sight is off. Once you are aware of this slight limitation, you learn quickly to check the NVG switch before you try turning your view off and back on. Plenty bright in Midday sun and keeps the point of aim after hundreds of rounds put through it. Great Deal
vortex strikefire ii red/green dot
The vortex Strikefire II held up on my TC Carbine 45/70 for Hog Hunting! While Hunting is the Georgia Brush, I had Zero'd in the Vortex Strikefire II red/green dot @ 100 Yards, and after 25 Shots at varying distances with 405 Gr Hand loads, I was ready to Hunt!! First Encounter with a Hog at over 100 Yards Holding at Hair and NO Air, I took the First Hog, and the Scope has remained a Performer Ever Since! Great Product and I am Pleased!
Vortex Strikefire II red dot WOWed me.
The Vortex Strikefire II red dot is far more impressive then expected, as a 4 tour combat veteran as a Navy Combat Diver and active duty PMC SPECIAL FORCES OPERATOR. I've used many types of red dot sights from EOtech to DARPA classified sights this is just a clean looking, clear lensed, heavy duty "I mean this thing can take one hell of a beating and stay zeroed" red dot optic. I own 3 have one on a 300blackout custom AR15, a Ruger M1A CQB and my HK416D plinker, quick target acquisition great battery life good looking and durable what more can you ask for!! Buy this now no need to spend $500 on EOtech/Aimpoint
Nice! Vortex Strikefire II red/green dot
After 500 rounds, the Vortex Strikefire II red dot has held zero and worked every time. I tested the auto-off feature, and that worked as advertised. My daughter, son-in-law, hunting partner, and his wife have all shot the Windham Arms AR. It is on easily and accurately.
First Red Dot
This is my first red dot and I mounted it on a AR .308 with a vortex 3X magnifier behind it. It works great. 3 rounds got me in the bullseye. What I really like is that I can still use my iron sights if I need to.
