The Vortex crossfire is a great lightweight and simple red dot sight with a great warranty and is more than up to my armchair commando use. I would recommend this to anyone on a budget, but that wants a solid optic that is far superior to the knock off stuff made in China. This works great on my lightweight AR build.

The vortex crossfire everything you need in a micro red dot with a pretty sick mount! Could be brighter and I wish the dial would turn 360' both ways, but for the price and warranty, you seriously can't complain. I would buy this again.

I mounted this on one of my AR's and had it sighted in with less than 5-6 shots. The 2 MOA dot is crisp with more than enough brightness settings. The mount is rock solid, and the glass is extremely clear and bright. Another winner, Vortex!

This Vortex Crossfire red dot is compact and sturdy, looks great on the AR, I have not shot with it yet but first looks the dot is nice visual around setting four and up but 1-3 you can see too definitely a night setting. When you turn the dot up past 7, there is a bit of a glare. The glare is the reason for the 4-star rating otherwise it would have gotten a 5
