It boasts impressive brightness levels, and its button placements are distinct yet seem free of patent issues. The top-loading battery is convenient, and the textured front is meant for one-handed racking. On the downside, its battery life might not match competitors. I found the battery lasted shorter compared to the hollow sun 407k, though activating its auto-shutoff might help. Still, I'd be content with six months of battery life. The dot itself, either 3 MOA or 6 MOA, looks crisp and performs well. Although it's not groundbreaking, given its projected price around $230, it could be a formidable contender in the market.
