Customer Ratings & Reviews
you will need sunglasses at night with the streamlight waypoint
Love it. The Streamlight waypoint spotlight is very bright and batteries seem to last forever. Live on 14 wooded and pasture acres. Have issues with coyotes, coons, possum, etc. so my dogs go nuts every so often, and I don't want to lose any of my chickens, lambs, or other critters we raise so it's nice to have a sturdy (dropped it a few times) bright light that doesn't weigh a ton or eat batteries like a fat kid with cake. The only improvement I would suggest would be the switch. I prefer a switch that if you don't depress all the way the light still comes on, whereas this one the light won't go on until you actually 'click' it. Not a big deal, just preference.
My Streamlight waypoint review
We live in an area surrounded by trees, on all sides with neighbors several hundred feet away. This is THE first flashlight/spotlight that can reach the neighbors' houses and the small stream about 450 to the back. It is just perfect to be finally able to identify just what creature is made those noises/howls at 3 in the morning. It's not too heavy, not too big for me at least. And I've already used the swing down stand feature while repairing a snowblower away from the garage lights. I've never found a better light and all with one bulb. It has to be the shape of the reflector; but whatever it is, it surely works as advertised.
Streamlight Waypoint is a great spotlight
This is a great handheld narrow beam spotlight. It outshines any other lights I've owned and feels great in your hand. The waypoint spotlight had great build quality and good price. I'll definitely be lighting up the woods when I go hunting. Can't wait to get in the woods now.
The Streamlight waypoint is a Great light
The Streamlight waypoint was given to me as a gift. I was very impressed with the light. Its build quality is excellent. The light is unique and appears to be very durable. It has three light positions — low, bright, and strobe. The light also has a built-in stand so you can use it without hands-free. The beam it throws is more of a spot pattern than a flood pattern, which makes the illumination beam go further. I use it for long-distance illumination of a couple of hundred yards, (I look for deer across a large meadow on my property at night). I haven't had it long enough to find out the battery life, but from other reviews, I don't think that is going to be an issue. I liked this light so much; I bought another one as a gift for a good friend of mine.
Very bright spotlight
The Streamlight waypoint spotlight is an exceptionally bright light beautiful and white LED. Battery life seems well, so far have had it for two months and haven’t changed since the first day. Gets used at least five nights a week at our house. The dimmer setting is very convenient and much more helpful than having to cycle through with on switch. The smooth locking trigger is beautiful and reliable. It lights up at least 400yds, probably farther, but it’s a little hard to see that far at night anyway.
Streamlight 44902 waypoint spotlight
I could not have asked for a better product for the money. I was shocked at the intensity of this small handheld light. If you're in the market for a work light or a spotlight order the Streamlight waypoint spotlight, you will not be disappointed.
My streamlight waypoint review
I have a flashlight obsession. The Streamlight Waypoint is one of my favorites. I got rechargeable c batteries for mine. Haven't torture tested it yet, but it shines far. As a farmer, it comes in useful. As a hunter, the redlight cover also shines now. Fits well in hand, very comfortable to handle.
Streamlight 44900 Waypoint Spotlight is AWESOME!!!
The streamlight waypoint spotlight is AWESOME!!! Turns night into day! Get one... better yet, get two. One for the house and one for the car.
Streamlight designs its flashlight in such a way that it is customized to a particular profession or purpose. Hunters love the Streamlight Stinger series in a compact package for their super-bright results, yet are also rechargeable and almost indestructible. Law enforcement and the shooting community love the Streamlight TLR Series bright light, toughness, and long-lasting quality. Based on the success of the Streamlight TLR-1 light, they have made several newer versions like the Streamlight TLR-2 weapon light with Laser. Now, Streamlight has produced the TLR-3, TLR-4, TLR-6, TLR-7 and TLR-8 tactical flashlights. The Streamlight stylus pro has been designed for those who need a bright LED light in difficulty reaching nooks and crannies, such as the engine interiors that mechanics need to see or the different angles of a crime scene that forensic specialists need to inspect. Whatever the specifications, Streamlight aims to provide you with the best lighting solution possible. The bottom line is this - if you want a flashlight that is there for you every shift, holds a charge all night and puts out plenty of light in police or tactical situations, you can't go wrong with a Streamlight brand light.
