Trijicon MRO Red Dot Sight 2.0 MOA , MRO-C-2200004 - Low Mount
The Trijicon Miniature Rifle Optic (MRO®) is a reflex-style, sealed sight intended for use on rifles, carbines, and shotguns to provide fast target acquisition. It is designed to be used with both eyes open, providing the operator with maximum situational awareness. The large aperture and tapered light path maximizes the viewing area in such a small optic, allowing for fast target engagement – especially from non-standard shooting positions. Advanced lens coatings and electronics produce a crisp red dot. The brightness control dial on the MRO is specifically designed for ambidextrous usage. With a mid-adjustment “off” position and eight discernible brightness settings, this brightness dial allows for quick and ergonomic adjustments.

Love it So Far
I had an Aimpont Pro mounted on my AR before replacing it with the MRO. So far i have enjoyed the MRO much more than the Aimpoint. When shooting i have not really noticed the two knocks on this optic which is slight magnification and color intrusion. The only minor hiccup I have had with the MRO is related to the mount it came with not the optic itself
Exactly what you'd expect from Trijicon
Everything you'd expect from a Trijicon optic. No problems sighting it in. Has held its zero just fine. A year later still on the original battery. Id knock it for price point, but as much as I wish they cost less, I cant say I've ever had any regret paying out for their stuff. Looks great on my CZ Scorpion SBR.
Best of the best red dot sights
I use the MRO on a CZ Scorpion. It came in a hard case from Trijicon and was packaged securely, made me feel like I had purchased something worth the money immediately. Came with allen wrench for install and even a sticker, which was unexpected and pretty cool. Install was a piece of cake as expected. Sighting in the optic took about 5 minutes. One nice thing about the dials on the MRO is that only a fingernail or small coin is needed to make adjustments. I've owned the MRO for a couple months and have only adjusted it twice after putting about 900 rounds through the weapon. Very impressed. Yes it's expensive, but I'm a firm believer in by once, cry once. You won't be disappointed.
Thumbs Up!
My first impression, it looked bigger on YouTube. Overall it looks solid, has a small form factor, and fits nicely on any rail I've put it on. With the current mount, it sits too low to be used with any backup sights on an AR. There is a slight magnification, not a true 1x optic. To me that provides a nice clear view of my target. As soon as my Ultimak M9 and RS AK306 arrive I will update this review for Yugo NPAP customers. Compared to the Aimpoint, the money saved with this optic allows you to buy additional required mounts for your intended rifle platform.
Trijicon mro
Very well built, very happy with my purchase. My low mount works great on my cz scripon. The radical is clean and crisp, which allows me to very accurate with this red. I would suggest this red dot to any one
Superior price point, rugged, clear.
Trijicon has a winner with their new MRO. I have used mine on my M1a and also on an AR. Easy to adjust, good clarity, not to much coloration, and a wide range of dot settings that works well from day to dusk to dawn. Great field of view that is superior to other offerings that cost even more. I used the included low mount for the M1a scout, and a med base Picatinny mount I already had for the AR. This unit will reside full time on the scout. I will order a second unit for one of my ARs in the future. Highly Recommended.
Excellent red dot and very good price
The Trijicon MRO is a fine US made red dot optic. The dot is very clear and even with my older eyes still round and not star like. The thing is small but has a great field of view and the outer case is thinner than an Aimpoint so you so more target, less black metal case. Clear glass and nice very low profile snag free mount. The adjustment knobs are easy to get to and are sealed, requiring no covers. Like everyone, I have my opinion so try one out on a rifle, not just inside holding it.
Very good red dot for the money
I purchased one of these with the low mount locally, I own several competing products, including the Aimpoint PRO, T-2, T-1, H-1 and the Vortex Sparc II. I purchased the Trijicon MRO to replace the Aimpoint T-2 on my Sig 556 XI Russian; due to the charging handle position and where at like to position the optic I kept grinding my knuckles against the brightness adjustment knob. The top mounted brightness knob on the Trijicon solved the bused knuckle issue on this rifle (the Tromix extended charging handle didn't hurt either). Onto the optic itself: this is a very well made optic that lives up to the Trijicon name. Pros: the view is significantly larger than an Aimpoint Micro but smaller than a PRO. The optic is between those two in size but much closer to the Micro. Their design with the larger front lens does minimize the tube effect seen on the Aimpoint. The Trijicon 2 MOA dot is as crisp as any of my Aimpoints. The top-mounted brightness adjustment knob means that the optic occupies less of my vision when shooting with both eyes open. The adjustments for windage and elevation are easy to adjust, but with good clicks, I think they will be firm enough to stay in place. Cons: the glass is not as color neutral as my Aimpoints; there is a very slight green tint to it. There is a very slight magnification to the optic that is noticeable when shooting with both eyes open, this may bother some people, but I think it will be fine. Two of the three examples I looked at in the store had some blue hue in the same corner of the lens, likely from too thick a coating in that section. I have seen the same blue hue in different Aimpoint Micros I have owned, so this is not a knock against the MRO. There are no provisions for lens covers or a bikini-style cover provided, so this runs unprotected in my safe until Scopecoat makes a cover for it. For the price, I can't see myself buying another Aimpoint Micro over another Trijicon MRO, but it is still a significant upgrade from an Aimpoint PRO due to the smaller size and weight.
Very Good
Very clear dot, compact size, middle power off position, tactile intensity settings. Feels very rugged. Con: No flip-down lens caps. Bonus: This low mount absolute co-witnesses very well with Troy Micro sights if you're using it on an AR with a raised rail or similar low application.
Best M1 Carbine Red Dot Sight
I love this new mini-red dot sight from Trijicon. I simply mounted it onto my Fulton Armory rebuilt M1 Carbine with an Ultimak USGI picatinny mount and only had to adjust the sight (in Low Mount configuration) a couple of times to achieve a very quick 50 yard zero for the way I hold a rifle. I already own an Aimpoint PRO and would say that the Trijicon MRO red dot sight is a worthy competitor to the Aimpoint PRO...The Trijicon MRO is just smaller (or right-sized for the M1 Carbine).
