    Satisfied with MRO cover

Installing the MRO lens and cover took me approximately 15 minutes. The lenses seem to be clear, made of polycarbonate which might scratch with time. I plan to keep the lens covers closed until they become scratched or cloudy. The rubber material appears durable and should last a while. I am unsure of how it would perform in freezing temperatures, but that is not a concern for me and my shooting location. I think the covers are worth the cost.

Highly recommended. Not difficult to install

Contrary to previous reviews, installing the MRO cover was a breeze. Simply start with the larger end and make sure the bottom piece of the cover is bending in the correct direction. No need for extreme measures like boiling in hot water, which could harm the structure. Although it may seem expensive, I believe the protection it provides for my Trijicon glass is worth the cost. The fit is excellent, the lens covers are convenient, and the cover enhances the overall appearance.

Soften the cover using a heat source such as a heat gun, blow dryer, or by microwaving it in water. Installing the cover is simple and can be done in less than 30 seconds if followed correctly. Turning the top knob is a breeze, just make sure to place your thumb and finger in the correct front to back position. It is unfortunate that some individuals "review" a product and share their mistakes instead of offering helpful insights.

The MRO factory cover provides excellent protection for the delicate optic. Installing it was a breeze, just be patient and take your time. The fit is snug and you can tell it offers an added layer of protection from scratches and impact. I only deducted a star because of the high price, even though I purchased it from warehouse deals. As for the lens caps, I have mixed feelings. While I appreciate the protection they provide, they can be a bit obstructive. I may consider removing them as I mainly bought this for extra protection for the sight itself.

    Excellent protection for the MRO

The MRO cover provides excellent protection for the valuable optic. It may take a bit of time to install, but with patience and following the instructions, it can be done in roughly two minutes using just your fingers and a wooden wedge. Make sure to snap the glass lenses all the way in to the front of the covers before closing, or they will not properly snap shut. The cover is a bit pricey, which is why it only received four stars. However, it offers excellent protection.

    Trijicon - Class Act

Trijicon continues to impress me with their products and customer service, making them my go-to brand over other high-end competitors. I had a small mishap with this item and Trijicon went above and beyond to resolve the issue by fixing it and even sending backups. The cover comes with two clear covers that mount at each end of the MRO. They are protected by thin paper that must be removed prior to installation. To prevent scratches, I tried to be smart and used the removed paper to hold the covers while pushing them into place. Unfortunately, the paper was too hard and scratched the covers. It's better to simply use your fingers and wipe them clean with an optic cloth. After my mistake, I called Trijicon for new covers and their customer service representative replaced them for free, even though I had ruined them. Plus, she even sent extra covers, which is typical of the exceptional service from Trijicon.

    Excellent protection for MRO

The lenses and brightness switch are the vulnerable parts of any modern optic, but the MRO factory cover protects both. The instructions for installation are easy to follow, and I found the review helpful, especially since this was my third time. It's recommended to use a small needle-nosed pliers to grip the rubber cover, but make sure they have smooth outer surfaces to avoid damaging the optic. This set of lenses came without a film, so removal wasn't necessary. In the past, I received a cover with a scratched lens, but Trijicon's customer service promptly replaced the lenses for free, which is why I felt confident in purchasing this product. A little bit of water makes it easier to snap the lenses into place. Although the MRO is said to be water-resistant up to 100 feet, be careful when drying it off to avoid spotting the lens. The cover secures the battery cap if it becomes loose under recoil and may obstruct access during annual battery changes for red dot models. Keep in mind that green dots on the MRO require more frequent battery changes.

The Wait is Finally Over !!!!!!

Finally, Trijicon has released a high-quality cover for the MRO that fits and looks great. This cover provides an extra layer of protection for the already tough MRO, and the lens covers are a welcome addition. I used to rely on Butler Creek scope covers, but I could only find one for the front and never for the back. The Trijicon cover allows me to leave the lens caps on without removing them for shooting. The cover materials don't cause any distortion, and all controls are easily accessible. The only drawbacks with this product are the difficult lens covers during installation, which may have just been an issue with my set. The cover itself was a bit of a challenge to put on, but the end result is worth it. This weekend I plan to test if the lens covers stay on during shooting without distorting my vision. If not, I'll just fold them to the side. No more searching for aftermarket covers and lens caps for me. I highly recommend this product. Get one, you won't regret it.

    Excellent MRP lens cover

I have a Tavor X95 in 300 blackout. There is a switch on top of the rail that adjusts for subsonic ammo. When set, it releases excess gas right into the scope lense. The lens covers are see-through and show no sign of damage after 500 rounds. Just wipe clean and no worries about damage to my MRO. As for the clear lenses, protective covers just soak them in alcohol for about an hour, and the film falls off, and you have really clean lenses. I use the gun for competition and put a couple scratches on the scope. With this Trijicon MRO lens cover that is no longer a problem. Perfect fit and looks great.

    High Quality American Made Product

Thick somewhat stiff polymer material (not soft rubber), solid construction. A bit of a pain to install, but once on there it isn't going anywhere. Of course the Trijicon MRO cover fits perfectly with no play at all. It makes the brightness knob more challenging to turn. The plastic lens covers have a film that is very difficult to remove without scratching the synthetic surface. Called Trijicon, and they advised they're laser cut with the protective film still on them, resulting in it being somewhat fused to the plastic at the edges and thus very difficult to remove. Since I scratched one lens cover trying to remove it (fingernail), they promptly offered to send me a replacement set. Overall, though, a high-quality product, even though priced about double what they should cost in my opinion. If you have the coin, go for it, because it'll provide excellent protection to your $450 sight.

The Trijicon MRO Slip-on cover looks excellent and does a decent job of protecting your optic. Side note, be careful stripping off the white film on the clear plastic discs that are the actual lens covers. I can get scratched up if you're not careful.
