Trijicon RMR HRS RM06-C-700780: Adjustable (LED) Sight - 3.25 MOA Red Dot Hard Anodized Coyote Brown HRS
The Trijicon RMR Type 2 was selected by U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) for the Handgun Reflex Sight (HRS) Contract after extensive testing and evaluation showed the RMR Type 2 to be uniquely reliable and durable in handgun applications.
A similar version of the RMR Type 2 HRS that closely matches the one chosen by the USSOCOM is available to the commercial market. Unique to the RM06-HRS is the hard-anodized coyote brown coating which is designed to reduce detection and special markings which identify its date of manufacture and unique serial number.
The RMR Type 2 is designed with a patented housing shape that absorbs impacts and diverts stresses away from the lens to increase durability. It also offers redesigned and upgraded electronics that have been proven to perform when mounted on slide ride pistols and other small arms. It’s suitable for military, law enforcement, concealed carry self-defense, target shooting, and hunting applications.
The RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED sight puts the illumination control in the user’s hands. Easy-to-use buttons on the sides of the optic allow the user to adjust the illumination brightness, toggle between manual and automatic modes, and power down the RMR for storage. The automatic mode functions the same as the LED RMR version. If a manual mode has been chosen, the RMR will remain in manual mode for 16.5 hours following the last push of a button. After 16.5 hours, the optic will default back to the automatic mode so that the RMR will be ready for your next mission or task. All RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED sights are compatible with night vision devices, with the 3.25 MOA dot size being the most popular. Additionally, the user can also lock out the buttons so that the RMR functions in automatic mode only. This ensures that inadvertent button pushes do not cause a loss of aiming solution.
The 3.25 MOA dot in the RM06 is the most versatile and popular of all RMR dot sizes. The dot is small enough to allow accurate shooting at range while also being big enough to locate quickly.

Great product and will buy again!
I haven't been able to get to the range yet, so I can't comment on the accuracy (or improved accuracy using a red dot) but the fit and finish on the Trijicon RMR HRS is superb! It fits perfectly on the weapon and was super easy to install.
Absolutely awesome
I love how much faster target acquisitions are with this. I have it on my carry pistol. Twenty-five yards can get baseball sized groups. 15 yrds its golf ball sized groups. Anything closer it is stacking them through a qtr or less sized hole.
Best RMR I've ever used!
Been using Trijicon RMRs for a while now, this particular version is the best I've ever used.
Good Luck!
So overall, the quality of the Trijicon RMR line is solid and they can take a beating without loosing zero as far as a slide mounted optic can. But here is the BUT... trying to find a slide base plate for the SIG M17/320 optics ready platform (ORP) is currently next to impossible for the RMR line! The only after market mounting plates have a ton of mounting holes in them, as to be quasi universal, which will leave room for moisture under the RMR (which has an exposed bottom access for the electronics and battery). You have to purchase another plate to seal in the bottom (should be a factory standard option). The one major draw back is the bottom mounted battery, yes it will last 4 years supposedly, but having to remove optics to change a battery seems counterproductive , not to mention the fine threads involved that will invariably find a way to seize up and strip! But overall with the right weapon platform the RMR is a good optic and hopefully Trijicon will get with the game and get a more "universal" mounting system available.
Absolutely awesome
I love how much easier it is to acquire the target. I've got my Trijicon RM06-HRS on my Glock 19. Twenty-five yards can get groups tailored to baseball. 15 Yards of its party shaped golf ball. Anything closer is to stack them through a hole of qtr or smaller size.
Trijicon is great
Bought this Trijicon RM06-HRS for my FN 509, looks great on my weapon and works fantastically. Just get one or two more for my Glocks. Tasty stuff!
