Trijicon RMR HRS RM06-C-700780: Adjustable (LED) Sight - 3.25 MOA Red Dot Hard Anodized Coyote Brown HRS
The Trijicon RMR Type 2 was selected by U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) for the Handgun Reflex Sight (HRS) Contract after extensive testing and evaluation showed the RMR Type 2 to be uniquely reliable and durable in handgun applications.
A similar version of the RMR Type 2 HRS that closely matches the one chosen by the USSOCOM is available to the commercial market. Unique to the RM06-HRS is the hard-anodized coyote brown coating which is designed to reduce detection and special markings which identify its date of manufacture and unique serial number.
The RMR Type 2 is designed with a patented housing shape that absorbs impacts and diverts stresses away from the lens to increase durability. It also offers redesigned and upgraded electronics that have been proven to perform when mounted on slide ride pistols and other small arms. It’s suitable for military, law enforcement, concealed carry self-defense, target shooting, and hunting applications.
The RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED sight puts the illumination control in the user’s hands. Easy-to-use buttons on the sides of the optic allow the user to adjust the illumination brightness, toggle between manual and automatic modes, and power down the RMR for storage. The automatic mode functions the same as the LED RMR version. If a manual mode has been chosen, the RMR will remain in manual mode for 16.5 hours following the last push of a button. After 16.5 hours, the optic will default back to the automatic mode so that the RMR will be ready for your next mission or task. All RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED sights are compatible with night vision devices, with the 3.25 MOA dot size being the most popular. Additionally, the user can also lock out the buttons so that the RMR functions in automatic mode only. This ensures that inadvertent button pushes do not cause a loss of aiming solution.
The 3.25 MOA dot in the RM06 is the most versatile and popular of all RMR dot sizes. The dot is small enough to allow accurate shooting at range while also being big enough to locate quickly.

Customer Ratings & Reviews
Premium Red Dot Sight
I purchased this model by accident; I meant to buy the adjustable model. That being said, the automatic adjustments for me have been more than adequate for my uses. In addition, it is more streamlined without the buttons on the sides. So if you are on the fence about this vs. the manually adjustable model, it doesn't matter that much, in my opinion. Great packaging for the RMR; I wonder why it doesn't come with a tool for adjusting the turrets. At this price point, the cost for a small but valuable tool should be a given.
Trijicon RMR Coyote Brown
I ordered this RMR HRS RM06-C-700780 for my new FN 509 Tactical. It fits great and looks fantastic. I got the LED v/s the adjustable as I figured it's one less thing to mess with or break. 3.25 MOA is the right way to go. Seems durable but will see with time. I was psyched to get this to the range.
Best RMR Sight
This RMR HRS was placed on my FNX 45 Tactical. I zeroed it using the Arma Dynamic Trijicon RMR 10 yard Zero Target. It took me about four shots until I was knocking the Bulls Eye out of the target. I then transitioned to shoot at Hog silhouettes made of steel at about 50 yards with hit after hit. So far, I have been very pleased with the accuracy. There is a slight learning curve using the Red Dot vs. Iron Sights. However, after you get the hang of it, there is no problem. Just confidence that you will hit what you place the red dot on. We have a significant problem with feral hogs here in Texas, and this Trijicon RMR HRS Sight will augment my capability of dispatching these four-legged varmints.
Absolutely awesome - Trijicon RMR Coyote Brown
I love how much faster target acquisitions are with this. I have it on my carry pistol. Twenty-five yards can get baseball-sized groups. Fifteen yards its golf ball-sized groups. Anything closer, it is stacking them through a qtr or less sized hole.
Great optic, TOUGH
Have this on a rifle @ an offset for a backup sight to an LPVO. Rings steal at 100 yards and are super fast for under 20 yards. Fell off a table onto concrete and was fine. Lens has had carbon and oil on it; the coating is fine. Been in use for several thousand rounds on multiple platforms, 762x51 and 556. No issues. Holds zero, still on the first battery. Automatic mode is also really nice for use with a mounted light.
Great product and will buy again!
I haven't been able to get to the range yet, so I can't comment on the accuracy (or improved accuracy using a red dot) but the fit and finish on the Trijicon RMR HRS is superb! It fits perfectly on the weapon and was super easy to install.
I love how much faster target acquisitions are with this. I have it on my carry pistol. Twenty-five yards can get baseball sized groups. 15 yrds its golf ball sized groups. Anything closer it is stacking them through a qtr or less sized hole.
Best RMR I've ever used!
Been using Trijicon RMRs for a while now, this particular version is the best I've ever used.
So overall, the quality of the Trijicon RMR line is solid and they can take a beating without loosing zero as far as a slide mounted optic can. But here is the BUT... trying to find a slide base plate for the SIG M17/320 optics ready platform (ORP) is currently next to impossible for the RMR line! The only after market mounting plates have a ton of mounting holes in them, as to be quasi universal, which will leave room for moisture under the RMR (which has an exposed bottom access for the electronics and battery). You have to purchase another plate to seal in the bottom (should be a factory standard option). The one major draw back is the bottom mounted battery, yes it will last 4 years supposedly, but having to remove optics to change a battery seems counterproductive , not to mention the fine threads involved that will invariably find a way to seize up and strip! But overall with the right weapon platform the RMR is a good optic and hopefully Trijicon will get with the game and get a more "universal" mounting system available.
I love how much easier it is to acquire the target. I've got my Trijicon RM06-HRS on my Glock 19. Twenty-five yards can get groups tailored to baseball. 15 Yards of its party shaped golf ball. Anything closer is to stack them through a hole of qtr or smaller size.
Trijicon is great
Bought this Trijicon RM06-HRS for my FN 509, looks great on my weapon and works fantastically. Just get one or two more for my Glocks. Tasty stuff!
