Developed to improve precision and accuracy with any style or caliber of weapon, the Trijicon RMR (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) Type 2 is designed to be as durable as the legendary ACOG. The Trijicon RM06 is an LED sight powered by a standard CR2032 battery. Housed in rugged forged aluminum, the RMR Type 2 is extremely tough yet lightweight. Customer Ratings & Reviews
The Trijicon RMR is simply the best red dot
I have three Trijicon RMR reflex sights, two that are permanently mounted to handguns, and another that has a Picatinny rail adaptor so that I can move it to whatever firearm I choose. There are a lot of very good reflex sights available, but the Trijicon stands out from the crowd because there is no on/off switch, and there is no "shake awake" feature. It is always on and ready when needed. Battery life is excellent, one to four years, depending on the model. The only disadvantage is that the sight must be removed to change the battery, but I have not experienced any re-sighting after a battery change. An excellent product, as all Trijicons are.
Honest RMR Review
This RMR is a little bit on the pricey side. But it is, in my opinion, the best red dot out there. I like the auto-adjustment feature. Plus the battery life is better than many others. It sits lower than many others, so for me, that was a plus. The only downside is they should have included a cover for the glass. I live in a very dusty environment, but it is what it is. I was not going to buy a cheaper RMR just because it included a cover.
Excellent Red Dot
I have 3 RM06 sights. All are performing correctly with no problems. The fact that I bought 2nd & 3rd sights speaks clearly of my satisfaction with the RM06. One sight is on S&W L frame revolver, 2nd on S&W M41, and 3rd on Marvel Unit 1 conversion kit on 1911 frame. I am fully satisfied with all three setups.
My Trijicon RMR Review
I have 3 of the RMR sights, 2 of type 2, and one of type 1. All three are great sights. I do like the brightness adjustment on type 2. I have all 3 of them on Pistols. These sights seem to hold up very well to a lot of shooting. I have not had any issues with any of them.
Toughest Red dot sold
This is my 4th Red dot sight (Aimpoint T1, Primary arms micro, Vortex Venom) and by far the most rugged. It does have a smaller window than the other pistol RDSs, so pistol alignment has to be closer to pick up the dot, but dry firing and presentation drills will improve that. You will need suppressor sights to co-witness (I used Trijicon HD suppressor sights, very helpful in low light). Controls are easy to use without looking; I tend to bump the brightness up 2 in the dark, with two taps on the 3/8" + button on the left side—clear dot, long battery life, bulletproof. Watch Sage Dynamics video on RMR type 2 testing. I want to try out the Holosun 507C RDS because it has a 3.5 moa circle with 2 moa dot. And I am also pretty happy with my Vortex Venom. But the RMR RM06 rides on my EDC.
Still the best red dot sight
The Trijicon RMR RM06 is still the standard. Quicker acquisition over delta point and fastfire, at least for me. The battery on the bottom is a worthwhile trade-off for how good it is. Stick them on anything. It makes shooting more fun with aging eyes or young peepers. And it's the ultimate in tacticool. Rmr was my third choice in reflex sights, but now I have two. I'm sold on trijicon now.
Nice! Trijicon rmr type 2 3.25 moa adjustable led red dot sight
Nice small red dot. Glad I went with the 3.25 MOA. Works very well on the Glock 19. It just takes some practice to get used to using this as opposed to regular pistol sites. Wheres Waldo comes to mind... I LIKE it.
The Best Red Dot Sight
This trijicon rm06 is the best small, open red dot on the market for a few reasons: Unlike the Leupold Delta Point and all of Vortex's offerings, the RMR is small enough to mount on a pistol and co-witness with all suppressor height sights. The brightness and on/off controls are much easier to use in day to day carry use or high-stress situations. This red dot is designed to be abused. The type 2 RMR was specifically designed to be mounted in brutal places, whether it's on a .45 ACP pistol or a battle rifle that is going to get beat up every day; it's pretty easy to trust that this thing will keep on running. Plus, the click values are accurate, and the zero holds true. What more could you ask for.

Lightweight and very well-made, this site works well on my pistol. Someone I know who served in front-line military forces said Trijicon optics held up and maintained zero during rough times in his unit. I also have this sight with the 2.0 MOA dot mounted on a rifle. So far, both are operating just fine, and I have no worries about their reliability. Since they always remain on, I change their batteries every year. Price is higher than other brands, but it's manufactured in the U.S.A.
Amazing Red Dot Sight !! RM06 FDE type 2, 3.25 moa red dot...
Mounted the Trijicon rm06 type 2 on a glock 22 gen 4. I sent the slide into a milling company to mill out the slide (Jaegerworks, did a fantastic job.. btw). Make sure you get a sealing plate. The o-ring gasket on the bottom of the rmr won't quite seal on the Glock surface without it. And don't use the screws that come with the Trijicon RMR use the smaller one that the milling co. send. I didn't know they were different. So I went for the ones that have thread-lock, and the gun wouldn't load around because the extractor was frozen from the longer screw. Oops.. after changing it, it functions fine. After bringing it online I noticed the 3.25 MOA is smaller than the 2 MOA dot in the Aimpoint pro and more significant than the 1 MOA EO TECH 552. It is the perfect size for hitting a running target at 100 yards! And it is just as bright if not brighter than the Aimpoint, The dot is sharp, and the glass is light blue and very clear. I noticed there is a slight parallax if your eye is right up on it, but at arms length, it is perfect. I took it shooting at an indoor range to get it dialed in. Five rounds at 10 feet all shot were 1 in the group about 1 in to low and a half-inch right. Made adjustments and re-fired five more hitting 3/4 inch group dead nuts center 1-inch bullseye. Moved target 25 feet at 5 inch round target with 1-inch squares for reference. First, five rounds 1-1/2 grouped 2 inches low and 2 inches right made adjustments and first shoot dead on bulls, four more shots 3 in the center and pulled the 5th shot low.. so moved it to 75 feet fresh mag.. fired 5 and 4 in 2 in group dead center. So unloaded the mag and all were with-in the outer bulls 3-inch circle!! I haven't shot this good since the pistol marksmanship (navy) qualified expert.. this dot sight is small so it might take some getting used to finding the dot. Still, if you are fast to acquire the irons this is cake.. btw I kept the factory iron sight and can't see the front sight through but the rear helps with the acquisition of the dot, which is quite fast.. remember muscle memory. I am no longer worried about engaging in a rifle fight with a handgun! The brightest is manually adjustable or automatic with a built-in brightness sensor, so if you walk in a dark room, it takes about 1 second to auto-adjust likewise from darkness to bright sun. And this sight is plenty bright even with sun in your field of view.. and the button cell battery lasts five years on time. And yes, you can turn this sight off.
Trijicon RMR rm06-c-700672
I wanted a Red Dot Sight that would co-witness with my ghost ring sights on a Benelli m2. So I wanted and needed something reliable, durable, and compact. This Trijicon RMR rm06-c-700672 fit the bill to a T. In fact, it’s my second one. If it holds zero under the punishing conditions of a12 ga, it will hold up against most anything. It has a vast field of view and has clear glass. It has the desired features that you would want in this kind of sight.
perfect fit for my glock 17
In my view, this Trijicon rmr 06 type 2 is the best in the business. It is rugged small and very handsome. Make sure when you order you get the adjustable unit (the one with the buttons on the side) so you can turn off to save battery. Also, you can adjust the brightness level. Be aware that there are many fake's on eBay. Buy from optics planet, and you don't have to worry about that prices are low. It's a win-win
