This product is well worth the 5-star rating it receives, and the value alone makes it a top pick. In stores or on trucks, CR123A batteries can cost anywhere from $4 to $8 each, making it expensive to keep devices powered. I use a Streamlight Pro Tac HL 3 flashlight daily and have tried several brands of batteries, including Duracell, Surefire, Extreme Beam, and Energizer. With these Streamlight batteries, I have been able to get 15-20 minutes of maximum output (960 lumens) and almost three times the output time once it drops to the 60-lumen default. While it is possible to recharge these batteries 1-2 times, it is not recommended due to the risk of bursting or leaking and the loss of battery life with each recharge. If you depend on a device or piece of equipment that runs on CR123A batteries and need a reliable, long-lasting option, these Streamlight batteries are the way to go. They offer the best value and performance for the price.

As a retired Deputy Sheriff, I have extensive experience with flashlights and can attest to the quality and performance of Streamlight products. In the 1980s, Streamlight introduced a full-size duty flashlight that quickly became known as one of the best police flashlights available. As technology advanced, Streamlight could downsize its lights and create a range of models just as bright as their full-size counterparts. Many of these smaller lights use CR123A batteries, and after trying a variety of brands, I have found that Streamlight batteries offer the best combination of performance and value. They last longer and are more affordable than other options, making them an excellent choice for any device that uses CR123A batteries.

I have been using Streamlight CR123A Lithium batteries for over 25 years and have always been impressed by their reliability and performance. I use it in my EOTech EXPS2. Work well, seem to last as long as the last as others I've used. Also, have a nock-off flashlight that uses them—hoping to get set of rechargeable eventually. This dozen should last me a long time, though and push that back a bit.
