I put these on all my small caliber guns as well as on my muzzleloader. I'm used to shooting long range with my 338 so my cheek weld is a lot higher than normal. These rings help me maintain my particular shooting style and anchor points with my plunkers. I have never had any issues with mounting these rings or any issues with the construction of this product. I will continue to buy these rings for future guns.

The base is typical Leupold quality. The fit and finish are what you would expect from Leupold. The Torx screws are a significant plus. I would have given 5-Stars if the base would have been a lower profile like the Weaver. I needed a lower profile base to use my iron sights on my Marlin 336.

Just a simple two piece weaver cross slot base. It sits a bit higher than the genuine Weaver base. Has a bit more flexibility for the positioning of the forward slot. The screws are allen head instead of flat tip screwdriver, so that is better for me. I definitely would buy again.

These rings are the perfect height for mounting a scope on a flattop AR (shhh, don't tell my secret). Sturdy, lightweight, and like I said, ideal height.

I bought my 10-22 Ruger 35 years ago. I had put thousands of thousands of rounds through it. I recently decided to "rebuild" it with a new A&B heavy bull target barrel, Hogue over-molded stock, and all new springs. The old off-brand rings that I had on it had to go! I chose a set of the vertical split Leupold Rifleman medium matte rings. I couldn't be happier with the rings! They are solid! I installed them without any problems at all. One of the things I like about them is the fact that these rings only have two screws vs. 3-5 for some other types of rings. In my mind, fewer screws mean there is less to go wrong! I know I am only using them on a .22 and not a .460 Weatherby Magnum, so I can't say for sure that they will work on super high recoil applications, but they work great for me, and I plan on using these rings on my future rifles. They look great too!

I have two sets of these Leupold 55870 rings, which are mounted on Savage 110s with 3-9X40 scopes (Nikon and Bushnell). Being only medium height, they keep the scopes low enough for a decent cheek weld and comfortable shooting. Both rifles have maintained tight 100-yard zeros. The hex screws and provided hex wrench are tough and will not strip at all when tightening, unlike others. Overall, a quality, durable product at a fair price.

I have these bases on my Rem 700 ADL 30-06. The rings went on easy and stayed tight. I was able to produce a quarter size group at 100 yards with these bases and Rifleman rigs. I would recommend them to anyone that is on a budget. For the price, you are not going to beat them. They are great for hunting rifles.
