I don't want to say that everyone who has negative things to say about these scope rings doesn't know how to mount a scope. There's always a chance of receiving a defective product. However, in my experience, these scope rings work without a hitch. I have one set with a Weaver base and another set of Leupold QR scope rings that take a QR scope base, both used for different hunting rifles. I take my scopes off for cleaning, and every time I remount them, they are still spot on. My Winchester XPR .30.06 even hit targets at 500 yards after remounting the scope. Maybe some people are not mounting the scopes correctly or have a faulty scope, but I would highly recommend these scope rings. I don't use them on my black powder rifle since I don't plan on removing the scope, but for my other rifles, I want them in a secure place for travel. In my opinion, if you mount your scope properly and choose the right size, you won't go wrong with these scope rings. The QR scope base and rings are quicker to detach than the Weaver style, but both have worked flawlessly for me. I have a scope mounting kit with a torque screwdriver and levels, and I've never had to use lapping bars.

The quality of the leupold quick release rings seem to be good. The locks are secure. I have not tested the Minute of Angle before and after remounting the scope to the base. I have sighted in my Leupold VX-3i 30mm CDS (4.5x14 40mm Windplex) on my older Ruger M-77 Safari rifle chambered in 7mm magnum. It's a great combination.

Quick to install and easy to remove if adjustments to scope are needed. No removal attempted since sighting in, but holds zero after firing several hundred rounds. Check periodically to ensure tightness of levers. Note: levers are sharp and can snag clothing when using a tactical sling. Not a common occurrence, but worth mentioning for those who require this feature.

I am simply in love with these Leupold qrw2 rings. I have sets of silver and blue, from high to low, and they all work well. Return to zero seems to depend more on the mount than the rings as the RTZ varies using the same rings/scope on different mounts. RTZ varies from right on with Leupold mounts on my A-bolt to 1" off with my ar-15 Picatinny rail. The only reason I did not give them a 5 star is that I must restrain my neanderthal impulses or I torque the screws off or strip the threads. If I use restraint, they allow me to swap scopes around at will.

Very highest quality all steel quick release rings, repeatability excellent when scope is removed and reinstalled. Zero shows no or very little movement between constant removal and reinstallation.

This Leupold qrw2 rings is used on my Target, Tactical and Hunting rifles from .223 and the .300 WSM to the .458 Lott and .404 Jeffery without any problems at all from recoil or travel bumps and knocks. Taking the scope off and putting it back on is always within a 1" re-zero at 100 yards.

I installed these Leupold QD rings on a Springfield Armory M1A and with a Springfield Armory 4-14X56 Govt. Model second generation scope. Clearances are perfect. The gun was sighted in, and the scope was removed to check the return to zero of the detachable rings. The new groups were identical to the previous ones. I am very impressed. I was quite skeptical about a scope that would return to zero. Some of my High-power long-range friends recommended the Leupold qrw2. I have to tell you that they are some of the easiest to center the scope I have used. Yes, you can remove the scope and put it back on with no loss of zero. This is being used on a 600-yard rifle. The scope can be removed and reinstalled, and I can't detect a zero change. I even remove the scope now when I clean the rifle!

Once I bought my first pair of these Leupold qrw2 rings, I was hooked. I needed a mounting system that I could switch scopes with on a rifle that I hunted both long-range and tight quarters. I have tested this mounting system by sighting in the rifle and firing a five-shot group. I then shot five more shots, detaching and reattaching the scope after each shot. The "remain attached groups" averaged 5/8 inches, the "reattached groups" averaged slightly more than 3/4 inches. Statistically more significant, but definitely "minute of deer" or even coyote. I highly recommend this setup for quick mounting with accurate zero.

You can not find a better quality and fit/finish than Leupold scope rings. These Leupold qrw rings fit both Weaver-style bases and Picatinny rails. They lock down super-tight and return to zero if you need to remove and remount your scope.

I own three sets of these Leupold QRW2 scope rings. Two sets on my muzzleloaders, so in bad weather, I remove the scopes and carry them in the daypack and use the ghost ring sights. Never had ANY problems with scopes not being true after being remounted. Fully trust them and highly recommend them.
