Quality rings
The Weaver Six-Hole Picatinny Rings are of typical Weaver quality, well-built, and providing a solid connection to the base. The six screws may seem like overkill, but it could be for aesthetic purposes. Many people are looking for "tactical" options in today's market. What I appreciate about these rings, as well as other rings of this design, is that I can remove the scope from the rifle without having to take it out of the rings. This eliminates the need to readjust the level and eye relief when re-mounting the scope, and the scope typically returns to the same point of impact.
Nice Rings!
I recently purchased the weaver Picatinny scope rings to mount a large optic, a 6-24x50, on my M14 with a Brookfield-type mount. These rings were easy to install on the Picatinny/Weaver system. Following a pattern and tightening them incrementally, similar to how you would install a head on a car engine. After firing approximately 500 rounds through the rifle, I noticed no movement from the scope. However, if you plan to lap these rings, be aware that the six-hole system may be difficult. It's important to ensure consistent pressure is applied to the entire ring and to continue torqueing the screws as you lap.
Weaver tactical scope mount
I used these rings to mount a 50MM scope on my AR10, and they are both very easy to install and hold the scope tightly without damaging the tube. Even with some rough use, they have held the original zero. I consider them to be an excellent bargain and have two extra sets to use on future Picatinny rail rifles.
30mm weaver rings
I mounted these weaver scope rings (extra high) on a DMPS LR308, and they quickly cleared a Zeiss with a 44mm objective. When the gun started throwing rounds, I took it to my gunsmith, thinking that the rings might be the cause. He checked them out and said that they were 100% true and aligned with the bore. Turned out to be an issue with the barrel. They helped me avoid a costly AR mount with integral rings. Just order extra hight and mount straight to the top rail.
Weaver 30mm Scope Rings hold tight
I like the cross-bolt holding the scope rings to the base. These scope rings hold the scope so securely, and I see no slippage even on large magnums.
Rugged 30mm scope rings
Well made 30mm scope rings that look great and hold scope securely. They were simple to mount with my Nikon M-223 scope on my AR15. The hardware looks rugged, and they are made in the USA.
I have used these rings on many rifles
These are very good scope rings. These Weaver 6 hole rings work great on Larger longer scopes on bigger caliber rifles. You needed to make sure you are using a Picatinny rail, These rings have a .187 bar, and will not work on the smaller weaver base.
weaver rings
good light rings , but strong, MSP good to trade with
Perfect Choice
I like the quality of the product and the fastners. Some rings you feel you have to be very careful not to cross-thread the hex-screws, but these go in smoothly, the holes between the upper and lower ring pieces are perfectly aligned. I especially like the wider style since my scope was being mounted on an M1-A/M14, which is famous for scopes going out of alignment from inferior mounts/rings. The redundant screws mean less cance for scope movement. These are great
Very Good Value....
Very good value for the money. I was looking for a good price as well as all screws had to be something other than Flat Head drive. I found that with these scope rings. I was very pleased with there fit and the price was very reasonable compared to any others I looked at. And I looked at nearly everything out there. I used these scope rings to mount my $1400.00 Nightforce scope. Very satisfied.
Weaver tactical 30mm scope rings,6 hole, picatinny
These are very nicely made and finished rings. I have them on a 12 gauge with a Ultradot sight. With these rings you don't have to worry about movement from recoil due to the great holding power of these rings. I have a true picatinny rail on my shotgun and these are true picatinny rings which allows no back and forth movement when mounted on the picatinny rail.
