If you're trying to shave weight for a mountain rifle, these aren't the rings you're looking for. However, if you want solid steel construction rings that would be well suited on a precision rifle or treestand hunting rifle, I highly recommend these. I would also recommend pairing with steel bases.

Add a little weight to the rifle scope combo. Solid mount for heavy caliber rifles. They are made in the U.S.A.

I bought my first pair of Leupold Mark 4 rings 15 years ago. Since then, I have chosen them for two more tactical rifle builds. They are quality rings that are rock solid and dependable. I see no need in considering another brand ever again.

Very well made, extremely solid but also very heavy (like the gentleman above said). Use these on a high recoil rifle. If you prefer to save some weight, look into Leupolds Weaver-style PRW rings.

After using these scope rings for the first time, they are now the ONLY ones I use.

The bottom line is that these mounts have been the go-to industry standard for years. Rock-solid and reliable under the most severe conditions. I will always use these mounts on my most accurate rifles.

I don't care how good your scope is; it's only as good as the mounts you use. Why pay good money for a quality scope and use cheap inferior mounts. These are the best I've used. I've got a drawer full-on inferior junk, but that drawer hasn't been opened in 20 years. I learned my lesson the hard way. Life's too short to go cheap

I bought the 1-inch steel rings. They are rock solid. They are heavy, but when you torque down your scope, you can count on these rings to hold it in place with no movement.

Good solid rings, a little expensive, but hold up well under all conditions.

For the Ar and ar pistol, the super high rings in steel are the way to go. They give a straight-through the look and the perfect cheek rest without bending your position of aim. They also leave room to run a 45-degree sight or dot for close-in shooting under them. Most people dont know the correct scope height on an AR and the benefit this adds to accuracy due to shooting position. Of course on a pistol, a sig brace would be needed.

If you are looking for a well made solid steel scope rings that fit well into Picatinny mounts, these are your rings. They are very solid and easy setup.

These rings are one of the most robust most massive rings I've ever placed on a gun. Yes, they do add weight, but in case you get a heavy caliber rifle, then these are the rings to you. I use them on 300 WSM, and that scope isn't going anyplace. I could drop it off a 100-foot cliff, and the only thing I could say that could still be together will be the scope and these earrings.
