What people are saying about the Leupold Mark 4 Rings:

Mark 4 Review

My Leupold mark 4 rings are mounted on a Rem. Seven hundred thousand three hundred eight tactical, 20 moa Picatinny rail excellent mounts. Had Leupold Mark 4 50mm scope. Mounts were a little too high for the setup. So I had to exchange for the mediums but very happy.

Leupold STD Rings Mark 4 30mm Medium

I love these Leupold Mark 4 Rings. They provided just enough clearance for my 50mm Mark 4 and my Remington 700. Easy to set up and use. The only thing is, you'll need a 1/2" socket and an inch/lbs torque wrench set a 65" lbs to tighten them appropriately. Recommended.

Cannot go wrong with these scope rings

I have three sets of these Leupold mark 4 rings in medium and high heights. I use them on everything from a 5.56 to a 300RUM and have had no complaints. If you need to know which height to buy, go to Leupold's site. You can download a sizing chart. I use these scope rings with Badger Ordnance scope mounts and have been extremely happy with the results.

Heavy and Big, but great for large, heavy bench setups

I bought these Leupold mark 4 rings to mount a Bushnell Elite Tactical on my JP 24" Bull barrel AR. The quality is present when you place things rings on your mounting rail. They are heavy and resistant to my cludgy initial attempts to install them with the incorrect size wrench. These steel versions are quite heavy; you will notice the added weight on your rifle when you place them on, however, given that I primarily use my rifle as a bench rifle and pretty much "carry" it from my car trunk to the shooting line, the added weight is not much of a consideration. I especially like that these rings only use a four-screw instead of a six screw configuration. It makes installation a lot less stressful and time-consuming.

Solid Scope Rings

I've used these Mark 4 rings on two long-range builds and have had zero issues with them. They hold solid, even under the recoil of a .338 Lapua Mag. Not much more to say when it comes to Leupold quality. You certainly get what you pay for.

Lord of the Rings?

Like most Leupold products, you get what you pay for. I think $140 for a pair of aluminum scope rings is a bit expensive, but if you don't want to keep adding weight to your AR or rifle, you may have to pay up to keep the weight down. They're straightforward to set up on Picatinny rails to mount your scope, and they give my rifle a classic look. But they're just too expensive.

Best Heavy-duty Tac Scope Ring for the money

Best scope ring without going high-end stupid price point. Rings are great on full mil-spec Picatinny but will have space in the slot when the ring is pushed all the way fwd in the cross slot. I guess it is so the lame weaver rails can also fit the ring. Rings grip well and do not damage scope, and they stay tight. They mesh with 1913 mil-spec Picatinny well. This ring is better quality than a few other tactical rings that are indeed full mil-spec Picatinny. Have used these rings on 300 win mag, 308, 30-06, and 300 BLK all on top of the murphy precision Picatinny rails, warne rails, weaver aluminum tactical, a-3 flat tops, and xs sight rails.
