The Streamlight TLR-7 A Contour Remote Weapon-Mounted Tactical Light is a highly advanced LED light that boasts a powerful 500 lumen output with a far-reaching beam and good peripheral coverage. It is also equipped with a strobe mode and can run continuously for 1.5 hours on a single lithium battery. The TLR-7® A Contour Remote is incredibly lightweight and compact, making it easy to carry and maneuver. It comes with rear switches for ambidextrous support-hand controls and a remote switch that activates naturally when taking a firing grip. When I first planned on purchasing this light, my intention was to use it on my Glock 19. However, the already limited grip space made the ergonomics feel awkward. But when I mounted it on my Glock 22, it felt much more comfortable and natural. Overall, I believe that the TLR-7A Flex is a superior unit when it comes to controls. Its forward controls are better suited for a defensive firearm. On the other hand, the contour switch on this light seems unnecessary and almost like a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

Quite versatile. The Streamlight tlr7a contour is fantastic Glock 19x Light but the integration capability is what really shines!

Great light, not so great switch

So the TLR-7a Contour light itself is great. no issues there. It's super bright, last a couple of hours on high, and sits just at the barrel area on my glock 19X. The only issue I have with it is the switch. When I grip the gun, and my middle finger sits on the switch, there is a small gap where the finger bends. Due to that and how stiff the switch is, it may or may not light up. There are times I have to grip it soo hard, it makes it challenging to shoot. I may sell it and buy the light without the grip light switch on it.
