I have been looking for this mount for a few years. One late night session I finally located it with Mount Systems. However, hunting rush deprived me of fast delivery. A few months went by and a friendly young lady, asked me if I still wanted the mounts.. After a brief pause to remember what I ordered, and reestablishing my payment method, the mount was on the way. I have to admit that their phone rep is one of the most pleasant, sales reps that I have had the privilege to converse with.

The Rifleman scope mounts have performed admirably. The ones I've installed on some of my hunting friends' rifles have held zero without any peening or swagging, which is a common issue with low-quality brands. I have never had to retighten or experienced stripped screw holes. I give the quality of manufacture 4 stars. As a personal preference, I always use steel rings and bases, but I find no issues with these aluminum mounts. I give them 5 stars for value.

The Leupold base has an additional mounting slot on the front, which allows for more forward or rearward adjustment of the scope, compared to the two-piece Weaver bases.

The design of this scope/ring base mount is both beautiful and well-conceived. Unlike other cheaply made mounts, this one won't cause harm to your equipment or leave cuts and bruises on your hands during handling.

I have been using these remington 700 2 piece scope base for several years, even on magnum calibers, and they have proven to be dependable. They provide a quick and effortless way to mount a scope and changing scopes is much easier compared to a dual dovetail setup. Despite my love for dual dovetails, these bases offer unbeatable reliability.

"The Leupold VX-3L scope I purchased for my Remington 700 Police rifle in .308 Winchester came with a recommended scope base that was easy to mount. The barrel was already pre-drilled and tapped, so all I had to do was add a little Loctite for extra security and I was ready to go.

The base mounted easily onto the pre-drilled and tapped barrel of my rifle, and I used a small amount of Loctite for added stability. This combination has allowed for a seamless shooting experience.

I had another pair of bases on my rifle but needed to mount a new scope. The original bases only had one mounting position. This Remington 700 Scope Mount has two grooves upfront to allow for moving the rings. Works perfectly. The new scope is on and took it out and zeroed this weekend. No issues what so ever. Great price fast shipping.

They fit great on a Remington 700. I, however, was unable to use it with the scope rings I bought. I feel like the Picatinny should be in the center of the piece.

This line of Remington 700 Mounts has the expected Leupold attention to detail at a very affordable price. The finish is good without being excellent. They had to save the money somehow

I have these bases on my Remington 700 ADL 30-06. The rings went on smooth and stayed tight. I was able to produce a 1" group at 100 yards with these bases and Rifleman rigs. I would recommend them to anyone that is on a budget. For the price, you are not going to beat them. They are great for hunting rifles.
