Magpul MS1 QDM Sling - Custom QDM on our innovative sling
The Magpul MS1 QDM Sling enhances the already versatile line of rifle slings by incorporating factory-installed Magpul QDM quick-disconnect swivels. These heavy-duty swivels feature a low-profile design, easy single-handed manipulation, a durable Melonite finish, and a high-strength, rotating bale that guides the Sling to prevent rollover. This sling system provides not only the strength and speed of Magpul QDM hardware but also optimized functionality for two-point sling use with the MS1 Slider.
The MS1 system allows for rapid adjustments to the Sling's length without slippage or hazards like tails or loops. In its two-point role, it enables smooth shoulder transitions, and quick adjustments for hands-free rifle carry and shooting support from various positions. The Magpul MS1 QDM Sling maintains all the functionality of the original MS1 and can also be adapted for one-point use with separate adapters based on the MS3 and MS4 Slings.
The MS1 Sling has been rigorously tested in a variety of conditions, including wet, dry, and sandy environments, and passed static-load testing without slippage for 72 hours and weighted six-foot dynamic drop tests. In addition, it has been put through real-world use, such as hunting, hiking, and shooting in rugged conditions.
Made in the USA, the Magpul MS1 QDM Sling is also compliant with the Berry Amendment.

Front carry is best for hunting

This front carry sling allows me to seamlessly hunt with my hiking stick and firearm. As someone with a physical condition that necessitates using a hiking stick, this sling enables me to quietly stalk my target while still having the ability to quickly and accurately present my firearm. It's beneficial for hunting deer, pheasants, and other small game, as it allows both hands to be free while held close to the body and snap into action immediately.

High quality materials. I really like the fact that there are no dangling strap ends. This Magpul ms1 qdm sling is simple and it works. The way the sling swivels attach and detach is different. However, the sling swivels seem very robust and I like the triangular profile toward the mounting point. Less likely to hang up when swiveling.

This is a great sling, no doubt about it. You can immediately sense the quality of construction and materials, and it is great to have an easy length adjustment with no loose ends. The hardware locks solid- there is no way the quick disconnects will come off unexpectedly. Yes, it is spendy, but for a quality product that is made in the USA I have no complaints at all. You can't go wrong with this one.

I have not used the sling much yet, but just on first impressions, it seems durable and easy to use. That is probably my favorite thing about it in that it is super simple to lengthen and shorten. Furthermore, there isn’t a bunch of excess slack getting in the way of getting caught up. The swivel quick connects also a must for smooth transitions. I can’t speak much of how it holds up, but I get no feeling it’s cheaply made, and Magpul is pretty solid, so I suspect it will hold up well.
