Mesa Tactical High-tube Telescoping Stock Adapter for Remington 870 Shotguns
High-tube adapters have a comb height equivalent to an AR-15 and require an optics rail (included). High tube adapters allow proper cheek weld and eye alignment with popular optics such as an ACOG and others popular rifle scopes.
High-tube with mounting points for SureShell shotshell carrier, Picatinny rails and other accessories, are made for the Remington 870. They're multi-function single-point mounting apparatus which form the heart of the systems of Mesa Tactical strategy to tactical pump shotgun conversions.
Tactical lights may be mounted to both sides of the shotgun receiver. It’s aluminium cover help in keeping mud and dirt away from the and the sling swivel holes, and accessory mounts that are fixed with HeliCoil stainless steel thread inserts, thereby making for optimum strength and long life.
High-tube adapters share the same proportion like that of the AR15 and contain a Picatinny rail on which to mount optics (notice: High tube adapters are unable to be used without train-mounted sights of some sort).
Mesa Tactical is a leader in the creation of telescoping stocks for tactical shotguns. Telescoping stocks are essential for smaller statured shots, or for operators wearing body armor; a telescoping stock provides the span of draw on the scenario demands.
The idea behind the telescoping stock system is not complex: the factory stock of the shotgun is replaced by means of an adapter, to which conventional AR-15 grips and telescoping buttstocks and handles can be well attached.

Customer Ratings & Reviews
remington 870 stock adapter
I was surprised how much the high tube adapter helped with muzzle rise! Follow-up shots are sooo much easier with heavier loads (feels like more kick, though?). It took me a little time to get used to the transition from a trad stock to the high tube, but I really like it.
870 buffer tube adapter
Fantastic product. Accepts any combination of M16/M4 style grip, buffer tube, and stock. The best feature is that it allows me to mount Sureshell carriers while using a rail system that mounts on the receiver pins. You can use Mesa's adapter mount rails, sling mounts, all kinds of stuff if you don't want to use shell carriers. I'm using a pair of Sureshells along with the Aimtech Warhammer on my 870 right now. If you want a serious tactical upgrade for your shotgun, don't waste your money on anything else. Make the investment and buy this!
mesa tactical high tube adapter 870
We use the Mesa High Tube Adapter in all of our shotgun builds. We feel the adjustment of the stock's angle becoming linear with the barrel and receiver provides for a more stable platform while using the weapon. I would highly recommend this item.
Remington 870 high tube stock adapter
Very excellent workmanship on this item. Gives the Remington 870 a feel similar to the M4 / AR rifles. With the high tube set up, you need to put some optics/sights, so it will cost a bit more, but this item will decrease the muzzle lift, thus enabling higher hit potential.
They have 2 version the high tube and the Leo or low tube. The High tube is the one I am reviewing. I bought this because of the fact I have a very short neck and always have issues with cheek weld. This solved them. I am also recoil sensitive and along with the Enidine recoil buffer that solved those issues too. It is very well made and the company has a well deserved reputation for effective parts. Most shot-gunners do not like these type of tactical stocks. I am a little old school myself but this unit permits me to shoot a 12 gauge so much more comfortably and accurately. I would recommend it to anyone with similar issues. Plus it makes the transition to the AR15 and back much easier ergonomically. The short Picatinny rail allows for any type of optic including plain sights and that is another plus.
