Mesa Tactical Urbino Benelli M4 Stock with Limbsaver Buttpad and Cheek Riser (12-GA, Black)

This particular stock offers a number of features including the 12 ½” length of pull for tactical uses, Limbsaver butt pad, Santroprene rubber grip, field adjustable cheek riser, and a number of sling mounting options that include the Benelli-style sling loops on the rear of the weapon for 1 ¼” sling webbing.

The US Army and Marines already use the Benelli M4 semi-automatic shotgun and today American law enforcement is taking advantage of this weapon as well. The Mesa Urbino Tactical Stick is actually based in large part on the Benelli tactical stocks which create a more comfortable shape for the shooter. While the standard factory stock is considered too long for tactical shotguns, the Urbino version is just right for military and law enforcement uses. Overall, the Urbino Tactical Stock is made for high durability, easy firing, and will not slip under most conditions.

The stock is crafted from injection-molded glass-filled nylon and offers a 12 ½” length of pull which makes it very well suited for those using body armor as it provided better weapon control. The field adjustable cheek riser is another great option that lets the user select the position most comfortable for their needs. This is especially true when selecting the right type of optics for the weapon. The butt pad by Limbsaver provides better comfort when firing, particularly over long periods of time such as certification or extended training courses. The sleeve is made from shock-absorbing rubber to help reduce the overall fatigue in using the weapon. Plus, there are a number of proprietary sling mount options that are available as well.

Cheek Riser: This was developed to provide the best cheek weld when the shooter is using the optics. You can snap the cheek piece on the rails which are molded into the sides of the Urbino Stock armatures which are specifically equipped for just such a use. If the optics should falter, the cheek riser can be readjusted to a lower level so the shooter can use the iron sights or removed totally. You can also attach the SureShell shotshell carrier which was specifically designed for the cheek riser. Although the Urbino stocks that are equipped with rails can be used without the cheek piece, the cheek risers cannot be fitted to the stock that lacks the rails.

Limbsaver Butt Pad: For those who want better comfort when shooting, this is the pad to have thanks to the Urbino stock. The slip-on recoil pads offer a three-step reduction technology when it comes to absorbing the recoil up to 70%. This means less fatigue for the shooter all while maintaining the target. The pads come with a one year warranty and you can order additional pads from Limbsaver along with standard butt pads separately.

Features and Benefits of the Mesa Tactical Benelli M4 Stock:

    • Injection-molded in glass-filled nylon, the stock features a 12 ½” inch length of pull (LoP)
    • Shock-absorbing rubber grip sleeve reduces shooter fatigue
    • The field-adjustable cheek riser provides improved cheek weld when used with optics.
    • The Limbsaver® butt pad is for greater shooting comfort, especially during long training and certification courses
    • Includes Benelli-style  rear sling loops for 1 1/4 inch sling webbing
    • Includes a QD style sling swivel that fits in a hole in the lower rear of the stock

    Great product for Benelli M4

I looked at this product on youtube before placing my order. I didn't want to junk up my $2000 M4 with a cheap aftermarket buttstock. I was not disappointed. The 2" shortened length was just what I needed to shoulder the gun more easily. I was worried about the cheek riser being loose and flimsy, but it was not. No issues with assembly, however, I did add a drop of blue Loctite to the threads. The mesa tactical Benelli m4 stock is an injection molded part, and you can see the swirls of the nylon in section. The Benelli stock is uniform in color and appearance...not sure how it is produced. I still rate the Urbino 5 stars. Also added the mag extension and 1/2" bolt release from Freedom Fighters and an Aimpoint T1 with high LaRue mount to finish this gun for three gun competition.

    Urbino Tactical Stock

First and foremost, this Mesa tactical m4 stock is insanely comfortable. It has about a 2 inch shorter LOP than the original Benelli stock. The adjustable riser is very simple yet very effective. It's durable and will not come loose. The different heights can accommodate all body types and all optics. The Limbsaver is a magnificent addition that significantly reduces recoil and makes even 3" full power loads somewhat manageable. The plastic it is made from is quite durable and take just about any pounding you can throw at it. The material is the same kind that Surefire uses in its products. I really can't say enough about this stock. It is a vast improvement over both the solid and collapsible Benelli stocks. I would highly recommend spending the extra money to get the cheek riser and Limbsaver over the other models. Also, I would strongly recommend replacing the grip sleeve with the OEM Benelli model. This will not count against 922(r) as the sleeves are not called out in the list.

    the perfect semi-auto shotgun stock

I Was looking for the collapsible stock for my Benelli M4 but could not find it for less than $400. Also, learn how that stock chewed up cheeks. Am now very happy I found this Mesa Tactical Urbino Stock instead. I have the stock with the cheek rest and limb saver. I set the rest in the lowest position where it adds only enough elevation for perfect cheek-weld and line of sight with the stock M4 iron sights. The shorter length-of-pull feels very natural and firm with the pistol grip and makes the weapon manageable by smaller females and children as well as anyone wearing chest plates or body armor. The only negative I can think of is that the rear of the pistol grip is unusually wide and flat, and feels a bit uncomfortable at first. Had no influence on shooting other than to perhaps encourage one to pull the weapon more tightly to the shoulder rather than pushing it forward with the right hand.
