Customer Ratings & Reviews
A big step up from the standard AR-15 grip. Fits my hand like a glove and doubt ill have any trouble holding on to this thing when the weather turns. Had no idea what I was missing out on, going back to the A2 grip, it feels tiny and almost loose in my hand. It makes the rifle point better and feels more natural and intuitive. Definitely will be using this on all my builds.
NOT just for big hands
Don't be afraid to buy this AR-15 grip just because you don't have hands like an NBA player. This grip came stock on an XLR chassis I purchased, and I immediately fell in love. I wear a medium men's glove, and for me, the size of the Ergo Tactical Deluxe is perfect. I originally bought the smaller Ergo overloaded rubber grip, and it feels tiny. The larger tactical deluxe fills your hand; it feels like I have more control with both the handling of the gun and the trigger. I'm in the process of replacing all my grips with these. Bottom line: At least give this grip a try, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Great grip even for small hands.
I have a small-medium glove size. I was very hesitant to try out this AR-15 pistol grip because of the reviews saying it is for large hands(especially it is a little pricey). But I went ahead and bought it anyway. It is one of the best purchases I made for my AR-15. This grip feels a little big for my hands when I first took it off the box. But when installed on my rifle, it felt very comfortable. It no longer feels big on my hands, but it feels like it is molded for my hands. I let other people with my size hands hold my gun, and they said they feel like the grip is not too big. A huge upgrade from stock grips. It is very comfortable, and it feels like I have better control of my rifle because of this grip. The bulge in the middle feels nice on my palm, and it is also a nice thumb rest. I highly recommend this grip even for someone with small-medium hands. Just try it out. If it does not work for you, only return it.
I have larger hands and
I have larger hands and usually wear either a Large or XL in gloves. I bought this AR-15 Grip to replace the factory DPMS grip. The ERGO grip fits my hand perfectly and fits my DPMS AR-15 perfectly. Generous palm swell and extra rubber at the webbing puts my finger on the trigger in the proper position. This grip is very comfortable, agronomical and quite sturdy - and the stippling provides extra grip. Extra-long hex bolt was easy to install (note: you will need your tools as it did not come with Allen wrenches). I found the matte black color of the grip looks just right on my AR with no gloss or shine apparently on the grip. This one is combat-ready.
I got this Delux AR-15 Grip after
I got this Delux AR-15 Grip after lots of time using the standard Ergo grips and the Hogue grip. This "tactical deluxe" grip is an extremely bulbous, heavily sculpted shape, somewhat like an Olympic style target pistol or some revolver grips. It is also less angled than most AR grips, again more like some revolver grips. It feels great at first, but after a few minutes of use, it can create some pressure points and is not ideal. I do like how it lengthens the trigger pull, which for most people is too short with a stock grip. I have very large hands (XL glove size), and this grip is still quite large and hand-filling. I would not buy one unless your hands are at least a large glove size, and XL+ would be far better. Overall I think the standard Ergo grip is better for most people, even with hands up to men's XL glove size. This model would be best for people with enormous hands or doing mostly benchrest or varmint type shooting.FYI, while the standard Ergo grips include the "Gapper" and a grip plug, this deluxe model includes neither. You will want to buy a Gapper separately if you get this. This model does include an extra-long grip screw that is required to mount it. As with other Ergo grips I've bought, the fit was perfect, and mounting was an easy 1-minute job.
I have large hands
I have large hands (minimum glove size XL). I like the way this AR-15 Grip fits my hand. It somewhat reminds me of the grip on a Rem PSS stock vs. a regular stock. Some of the people with smaller hands that have handled the weapon the grip is mounted on have commented that the grip felt too large. This grip, like all ERGO grips I have used, fit the rifle perfectly.
perfect for my hand
I have been searching for the perfect grip for my AR-15 build. I have tried various brands, and they either didn’t fill my hand very well, had an awkward and awkward angle, or both. This grip is perfect for my hand. A word of warning, though, I have medium to large hands (the smallest gloves I wear are size 9). If you have smaller hands, these grips will be too big and awkward for you.
