Customer Ratings & Reviews
Fab Defense GRADUS review
The grip is angled at 15 degrees off vertical, which feels almost perfect for my natural grip. Most might find the 15 to 20-degree range comfortable. The Gradus doesn't have finger grooves but has a gentle palm swell, making it feel great in hand. I've previously reviewed a similar grip for my BP-12 shotgun and found that my natural grip is around 18 degrees off vertical. So, this 15-degree grip is pretty close and feels natural. Some grips force you to adjust your wrist, but with this, it feels just right. When I fitted it to my EP9, it was an instant game-changer. I plan to fit this grip to all compatible firearms I own. Installing it on the EP9 is straightforward, using standard AR15 specs and a 3/16 allen key. In conclusion, I'm a big fan of the FAB Defense Gradus Pistol Grip. Give it a try, and remember to always prioritize safety.
Fab Defense GRADUS review
The "low angle" means it's set at 15 degrees off vertical, which feels just about right for me and, I believe, for most. It has a soft palm swell without finger grooves, offering a comfortable grip. I did a previous video on a similar grip for my BP-12 shotgun and found my natural grip to be around 18 degrees, so this 15-degree grip felt super close and natural. With other grips that have a more extreme angle, you often unknowingly adjust your wrist. But this grip? It was a game-changer. When I attached it to my EP9, it just felt right – a real "aha" moment. I'll probably fit this grip on all compatible firearms I own. I've also shown how to install it on the EP9, which is a straightforward process for those interested. In conclusion, I'm a fan of the Gradus pistol grip and recommend giving it a shot.
FAB GRADUS GRIP
This vertical grip boasts a minimal palm swell, letting you comfortably wrap your fingers around it. It's perfect for thumb shooters too. Crafted from durable yet soft rubber, its design ensures your safety selector isn’t hindered. It also provides a sturdy platform whether you're a lefty or righty. If you're in the market for a grip with a subtle palm swell, rubbery texture, and solid grip, I'd highly recommend this one.
F.A.B. Defense GRADUS Grip Opinions
It's designed for long-range precision shooting, but it's also touted for CQB use. I swapped out the Magpul on my Midwest Industries rifle for this one. After spending some time with it — doing up drills, positional work like lying down and kneeling — I've got some initial thoughts to share. The Fab Defense grip has a different, more vertical angle than the A2, and it's a bit longer, which might suit those with bigger hands like mine. It features a rubbery, textured palm swell. However, the grip's angle changes how your hand positions, especially when trying to reach the trigger. It feels good, particularly in a prone shooting position, which I believe it was mainly designed for. The grip works decently for combat shooting from different angles too. If you’re used to shooting with standard grips like the A2, this one will take some getting used to. Its unique shape and texture can mess with your muscle memory, especially during quick target acquisition exercises. The rubbery texture is good for grip, but with winter gloves on, it tends to snag a bit. Another thing I noticed is that the grip can deform slightly if tightened too much. Overall, I think it's a solid grip for prone precision shooting. It's especially great for static varmint shooting. However, if speed and tactical movement are your main objectives, be prepared for an adjustment period.
At least try it once.
I absolutely adore the fab defense gradus grip. It feels fantastic in my hand and the rubberized texture is just perfect. I have a fondness for the Magpul K2, but I believe I will switch to this 15 degree ar grip now.
Great Reduced Angle Grip
"The fab defense gradus fits my hands perfectly and work great on my 10 1/2'' AR pistol and carbine. They make it easier to get on target faster and maintain accuracy. My hands don't tire as quickly, and I'm very satisfied with them. I'll be purchasing a couple more. I have some more expensive ones that I'm now planning to sell."
Great AR Pistol grip
Fits my hands very well and works great on AR pistol 10 1/2 '' and carbine . Makes it easier to get on target faster and stay on target . Hands don't get tired as quick very happy with them will be getting a couple more super nice !
Best AR Grip for me
This handgrip fits as a handgrip should. I do not know why manufacturers are continuing to make them any other way. This is the true definition of ergonomics. Your wrist is in the right position and your trigger reach is improved. Lastly, the rubber of the grip gives you a sure purchase on it.
Fab defense reduced angle grip
Excellent ar15 grip on typically use the umbrella Corp reduces angle grip but wanted to try something with a different feel. I’m happy with the product comfortable I’m the hand the only thing I don’t like, and this is just personal preference, is the rubber texture it’s really sticky, so if you want something to give you some extra grip, this is it.
Comfortable AR Grip
This AR grip seems well made and very comfortable. It has a more vertical grip than a standard A2 which for me seems to help when prone. Also, it has a nice palm swell. The rest of this review is because even tho I wrote one, it still says I need a character limit.
Great grip for Ar pistol
I bought this grip for a lower I purchased. The angle and grip feel great. It’s very ergonomic and doesn’t slip easily off your hands. The only problem is that I didn’t have a grip screw, and the package didn’t bring one. I honestly didn’t read what came in the package, so I can’t say it’s their fault. Great grip; just make sure you have a screw.
Why raw dog your hands when you can get some rubber
So the model with the Beavertail fits the best, in my opinion. The FBV model sticks out the rear end of the receiver a little too much for my pleasure. Overall it’s an excellent comfortable grip that’s not too large or too small, the texture is lovely and will keep your dirty D beaters where they belong. I’ve put these on most of my modern musketeer skeeeeters
