This product is unbeatable for the price. Although it doesn't produce a clicking sound, the cap screwed onto my 870 smoothly, and I even received an additional swivel or two that I can use depending on my choice of sling. If you compare the price of this product to what Remington charges for just the cap and shipping, you'll find that it's an excellent deal.

I purchased these swivels to transform my friend's Remington 870 into a more convenient firearm for carrying. I'm pleased to report that they functioned flawlessly. The front cap threaded onto the magazine tube smoothly, while the rear swivel seamlessly slipped into the stock's eye. Installing the swivels took me no more than a minute and a half. Overall, this is an excellent product.

I required a sling for a class I enrolled in, and I found the expense of purchasing this product to be justified. It performed well and met my needs. Although I don't intend to keep it on while storing my firearm at home, I can easily install and uninstall it, so I usually store it in my case. If you only need a sling for occasional use, such as at the range or for a class, there's no need to spend a significant amount of money. This product is a great option for light use.

The installation process of this product onto my Remington 870 was hassle-free. However, I initially faced uncertainty on the exact location to drill the hole for attaching the sling on the wooden stock. After conducting some research online, I was able to identify the correct spot. Fortunately, I owned a dremel, which made drilling the hole on the wooden stock effortless. It is worth noting that drilling the hole on the stock is a necessary step, unless you previously had a post on your stock.

If you're anything like me, the primary reason you need this product is for the end cap so you can attach a swivel to the end of your shotgun. Installing it on my 870 pump was incredibly easy. All I had to do was remove the factory cap and replace it with the cap from this package. I then placed the swivels on my strap and attached them to the gun. The entire process only took a few minutes and the end result looks great. I highly recommend this product for anyone who owns a Remington 870 12 gauge shotgun.

I purchased this product to fit my IAC Hawk 982 shotgun, which is a Chinese-made clone of the Remington 870. I found that the cap fit perfectly, but the threads for the stock rear swivel base were different. The Uncle Mike's threads were coarse, whereas the IAC 982 had fine threads. This seems to be one of the few areas where the Remington 870 and the IAC 982 differ. Currently, I'm on the lookout for a fine-threaded swivel so that I can make use of this product. Alternatively, I may resort to drilling the plastic buttstock as a last resort. It's unfortunate, but I'll have to figure out a solution.

This product fit my Remington 870 express perfectly without any issues. Although there wasn't any clicking sound for the tube cap, it didn't make a difference to me. The instructions provided were top-notch and made the installation process a breeze. Overall, the product appears to be of high quality and I would definitely recommend it, particularly considering the price. One tip I have is to use high-quality drill bits when working on your gun stock, and you can use the smaller bit to turn the wood screw. It's important to note that the swivel should not be used for this purpose, as the instructions indicate. If your stock happens to be synthetic, it's best to drill slowly and use a good quality bit to prevent chipping around the hole.

I recently installed this product on my Remington 870 and it's been working splendidly. As someone else has mentioned before, the cap doesn't produce the same sound as the stock one when being screwed on or off, but that's not an issue as it fits perfectly on my 870 express. I also want to note that the buttstock mount can be utilized on stock express models. The mount is made of plastic and has a small hole located underneath the buttstock. You can simply enlarge the hole a bit and manually tighten it up. Although I wasn't too concerned about the stock, I gave it a try and it worked without a hitch.

I utilized this set to replace the factory mag tube extension on my Remington 870, which shortened the length of the shotgun for my wife. Thankfully, it fit perfectly on the tube and required no modifications whatsoever. I was able to tighten it sufficiently by hand and did not require a wrench. However, I recommend using a small amount of Loctite and applying slight wrench pressure if you're worried about it coming loose. It's important to note that the mag tube has thin walls, so excessive tightening could potentially strip it and result in a visit to a gunsmith. While I didn't have a use for the swivels and stud, I can vouch that it's a great deal compared to the cost of a factory stud cap.

Attaching this product to my Remington 870 was a breeze and it made the process of installing a shoulder strap onto my shotgun quick and effortless. The shoulder strap fits snugly and does not slide or slip, which is a great plus. The only minor drawback that I have noticed is that if you frequently switch between a slug barrel and a choked barrel, the swivel mechanism may slightly slow down the process of removing the end cap to change the barrel.

Despite all the parts being present, the packaging was damaged and everything was covered in rust. Although I managed to clean off the rust using gun oil, I was still dissatisfied with the overall condition of the kit. However, the front cap of the kit posed a major issue for me. While it may fit well on an actual Remington 870 shotgun, it was not suitable for my ATI TACPX2, which is a supposed 870 clone. The cap was noticeably shorter in comparison to the one on my shotgun, which could potentially result in danger when cycling the shotgun since the barrel would move and not provide a secure fit with the bolt. This makes it incompatible with an ATI clone shotgun. On the bright side, the screw for the stock worked perfectly fine.
