This is a very well made high-quality product. It is straightforward to use, and the dual intensity output is useful when you don't need the full 320 lumens. At full power, though, this light can light up the night, better than comparable Streamlights I own. The aluminum body is solid and should stand up to a lot of abuse. If you want instant full brightness, you may want to consider the Surefire 6PX Tactical. However, this versatile light does give you a couple of options depending upon your needs.
