Absolutely love this rail. I feel as if every ak should come with type of rail it’s almost necessary.

Very easy to install, even though the rear sight was a bear to get off. Took it out shooting with a inexpensive scope on it and it definitely held it's zero after prolonged shooting.

Sturdy and very easy to install

After receiving this mount upon opening the box I was impressed to see how rugged and durable this railed dust cover is! It is finished in matte black/gun metal grey and feels slightly rough to the touch. I tried following instructions that were sent with the mount to install it on my polish ak, which were clear and well written, but I'm a visual learner and ended up resorting to YouTube. The install took me about 45 minutes, but would have took ten if I didn't have such a problem getting my leaf spring out (the leaf spring on the polish variant has a simple in the middle that had to be hammered hour with a screwdriver). After installation I installed my micro red Dot (primary arms SLX advanced rotary knob) and took it to the range. At 50 yards the red Dot was dead on center without any adjustments (just got lucky). I shot 90 rounds through it and flipped up the dust cover numerous times during those 90 rounds. I also rapid fired 30 rounds. The red Dot never moved from zero! This is a Rock solid mount that is MADE IN AMERICA! I almost gave this mount 4 stars because of the price vs the simplicity of the product but it has American made 5 star performance so I rated it as such. Texas Weapons Systems really outdid themselves with this one!

Over the last twenty years I've tried many different solutions for mounting a scope on my Norenco MAK 90 AK47 and none of them were worth "jack". The TWS Rail works. It is well made and nicely finished. It fits perfectly ensuring return to zero after opening the rail to clean or access the bolt. The TWS rail is a little pricey, but well worth it.

Texas Weapon Systems AK top cover makes an excellent solution at mount an optic to your AK. I have an Arsenal AK, and this Texas Weapon Systems top cover fits perfectly. No modification required. It saved me a lot of time by working the fitting the first time.

Texas Weapon Systems makes very good AK mount! I would like to buy more from this company. And MSP offered fast delivery and perfect service. They do not charge you before they send you your stuff. You can order, when it is available you pay. I will be buying more AK accessories from here.

If you want a railed too cover for your AK, there’s literally no better option than TWS dog leg cover. I use this instead of a side mount because my AK doesn’t have a side mount rail. The lockup is super tight and I couldn’t be happier.

Dont like putting coat hanger in my arsenal. Causes more wear and tear not to mention loosing accuracy. Prefer to have kept the telescopic tubular release button.
