Nice kit to start your gunsmith's tool set. The handguard take-down tool is the worst tool of the lot, but you can make it work after a few minutes of work. This AR 15 tool kit or something similar is a must for anyone who wants to build the AR.

I bought this gunsmith tool kit to help upgrade my AR15. The tools are of decent quality and work for what they are needed to do. I still had to take the rifle to a gunsmith to get the pins out of the front sight gas block as the punches are not cupped and will slide off when striking the pings. I could get the gas tube roll ping out very quickly, and the wrench is top-notch. It has a spanner wrench cut out, which works great for installing a free-float handguard that has requires the locking nut to be tightened.

The right tool for the right weapon makes it easier to disassemble and reassemble with little or no difficulty. I wish I had some of the tools when I was in the US Army, it would have made my job easier when working on my M16.

The tools are all of very good quality built to last. A nice touch is the heads on the hammer, both brass side and plastic side, unscrew and can be replaced if either of them become damaged. All in all, I love it very useful. shipping was super fast. It was not supposed to be here until the 7th, and it was on my doorstep on the 3rd couldn't be more pleased

Nothing fancy, but they are decent tools for the price. It would be nice if the rolled pouch had a few extra elastic straps, loops, and pockets for additional items. The hammerhead is a bit loose, but nothing that can’t be fixed with a bit of glue/epoxy and it is not so loose as to not be functional as is. The sight-tool could use a plastic storage tube, as if it gets caught in the elastic, or instead of an elastic loop an additional pouch to store it in.

A good entry-level AR build tool kit or field repair tool kit. It has all the pieces and does all the things it’s supposed to do; I would highly recommend the green/tan over the black, as little black gun parts blend in too quickly with the black; the lighter mat makes most parts visible when dropped on the mat.
