Wheeler Delta Series Ar Armorers Vise
The AR-15 platform has become the mainstay of today’s Modern Sporting Rifle market. Both front and rear supports have multiple positions in the base and are reversible for maximum customization. The base is constructed of rigid steel with non-slip rubber feet. Feet can be removed for permanent bench-top mounting as well. Depressions formed into the base keep spare parts or tools contained. Additional features in the mag well insert include a hammer stop and a bolt service station that secures the bolt face for disassembly/assembly. The vice works excellent for assembled guns in closed or break open state but also is ideal for holding a lower receiver only, for assembly and maintenance. It'll do. Holds AR via mag well but not tightly. I bought this to level a scope. This will not work well for this since the front surgery port is not high enough to support the rifle horizontally level. It's meant, as the picture shows, to support in the takedown position. It would be better if magwell support were more secure and could be adjusted in 3 planes and if the four feet were adjustable to allow leveling of the platform. Otherwise, it is acceptable for simple maintenance.

I bought the Delta AR armorers vice because I own and shoot multiple ARs of varying lengths. I can adjust angles on the mag block and barrel support to accommodate barrel lengths of 16" to 24". the base is heavy enough to push brushes and mops through the bore and not move due to weight and rubber feet. A tray in the bottom is handy to keep bolts, bolt carriers, and small parts while cleaning. The rubber hammer block is excellent for testing trigger functionality and trigger pull weight. If u remove the upper receiver, you can simply adjust the angle on the lower receiver magwell block to the angle most suitable for you to dissemble and reassemble the lower receiver. Great product.
