Best deal on a Ta31f acog for sale at MSP

I wouldn't put any other optic on an AR-15. With the fixed magnification, I was concerned that it wouldn't be perfect for up close shooting, but it works great at any distance. I don't believe you can find lenses any more clear than these. The reticle is perfectly illuminated day or night. I am already getting used to the BAC. It really makes for quick target acquisition having both eyes open. My S&W M&P AR is now complete with this perfect optic. Expensive, but well worth it.

Hands down ACOGs are the best

ACOGs are the best 5.56 battle optics that money can buy. These things are built like a tank, work day or night, never need a battery, and have an obvious sight picture. If you are willing to spend this kinda money look no further, I couldn't be happier.

This is a fantastic optic. I have used both Eotech and Aimpoint over the years but just invested in the ACOG. This beats them hands down. Crystal clear glass, precise range estimation, beautifully illuminated reticle day or night, and the benefit of having a 4x optic. It can be removed from the rifle and then put back on without having to re-zero. If you're looking for an optic calibrated for 5.56 (.223), you will not be disappointed.

    Outstanding

I run this scope on a SCAR 16s, and it is outstanding. I also have the Mark 4 CQ/T on a Sig 556, which is excellent scope in its own right (I recommend the Mark 4 CQ/T also). I have Larue QD mounts on both. I highly recommend the Larue mounts, but back to the TA31H. This is one of the best optics I have used to date and the horseshoe reticle is the one to have in my opinion for the ACOG. After spending a good portion of my adult life in the military, it's excellent at this point to choose my own weapons and scopes. This is one of my own choices.

am very happy with the scope

I bought the TA31H a few months ago and am very happy with the scope. I replaced the TA51, added a Larue QD Acog scope base, and mounted it on an LWRC M6A2 with 14.7" barrel. Shooting 75gr Prvi Match, I am able to consistently hit 12 x 12 steel plates out to 400 yards and steel silhouette targets past 600 yards using the BDC reticle. The horse shoe reticle is fast in urban environments and easy to zero. The standard chevron reticle is confusing to BZO, and most users zero on the wrong part of the chevron, making the BDC marks useless. This is the most rugged and compact rifle scope you will find. I was issued several ACOGs in the USMC and will use no other magnified optic on a short AR platform. Putting any other magnified optic on your M4 makes your rifle just a toy.

Superb optic, the finest, most durable 4X scope I've ever seen. Best groups at 200 yards so far. 5-star product, TA51 mount holds zero perfectly mounted in the same position every time.

    no adjustment needed

As an LEO, I needed an optic that did just about everything with little to no adjustment, and this fit the bill leaps ahead of even other ACOGs I checked out. The horseshoe reticule is nothing short of amazingly good (I prefer the green, amber was significant at dusk and dawn but washed out in daylight, red was great at night but washed out in low light against dark colors, the green is better over a wider range of light and target conditions). Target acquisition is extremely fast with both or one eye open. Being right-handed left eye dominant optics are very difficult for me, but this one just works. Quality? It's a Trijicon and built like a tank. Is it clear? Unbelievably clear. At 150 yards, I can see details with this four-power scope I cannot pick out with some 9 and 14 power "deer rifle" scopes I own that were not cheap. Low light? Exceptional! I went out before sunrise and could see my rusty barbed wire fence and gate at least 10 minutes before I could tell there was anything even there with the naked eye. The best scope I own is about 2-3 minutes. My biggest compliment is the fiber optics; I can go from bright daylight to a dark interior and never touch the optic; in casual shooting, this is a neat feature, in a combat or LEO situation can easily mean life or death due to washout or invisible reticle. I do have three complaints, no built back up iron sights, the thumbscrews are huge, and no cap lanyards. It's expensive for a range rifle or safe queen, but if your life or someone else might depend on it, can you really put a price on it?

I have had this sight for two weeks now, and I love it more than my TA31 with a chevron reticle. The horseshoe is far better than any other reticle Trijicon makes, so if you want speed for close-in work and pinpoint 250-yard shooting, then get this sight. Capt. Best magnified optic for the AR15/M4.

I've had the TA31F for a couple of years now, and I have to say it is a very, very tough scope. This scope has been thru hot and cold, wet and dry weather, taken drops, falls, and embarrassingly enough, it's even been stepped on. It's always taken everything I threw at it in the Appalachian foothills, and it's repeatedly stood tall without fail. I've shot a sub 1.5" 3 shot group at 100 meters. I don't know just how that ranks for a 4x optic in this category, but I feel that the ACOG will be as accurate as the one pulling the trigger can be. I wish it cost a bit less, but I truly think it the best-magnified optic one could use on their M4.

I built an M4 5.56. Took scope out of the box, attached it to the weapon, went to the range, and at 100 yards put 5 out of 7 shots in a bullseye group you could have covered with a quarter; windage and elevation were dead on the right out of the box. Awesome optics.
