Mesa SureShell Mossberg 930 Side Saddle Shell Holder 6 Shot (12-GA)
The receiver mounting scheme of our receiver mount shotgun SureShell shotshell carriers for the Mossberg 930 substitutes a steel bolt for the trigger pin retained in place by a black oxide plated acorn nut. At the front of the mounting plate, custom retaining steel hardware is used with an elongated extractor screw and a machined key hole In the plate. The mounting plate was designed not to obscure the receiver serial number to make it easier for armorers to inventory their weapons.
The Mesa Tactical SureShell shotshell carriers for the Mossberg fit on the left side of the receiver only. You must use a tactical forend that does not significantly overlap the receiver, or a factory forend that is cut down appropriately. SureFire forends will work fine with no alterations.

Got this Mesa mossberg 930 side saddle, and I love it. PROS: - Made of Aluminum, NOT plastic. - Adjustable retention. - Easy installation. - Rubber gasket to protect receiver marring - Mesa sends replacement retention tubes for FREE!! Cons: - Price (But you will never need to buy another one) - Cannot store shells in carrier long term Bottom Line: GET IT!!! Mesa Tactical 6 shell carrier for Mossberg 930

Installed on Mossberg 930 in about 10 minutes using blue Loctite. The Mossberg 930 side saddle shell holder holds the shells very well. Bolts did not pinch the receiver, as others have stated elsewhere. They are solidly built. It shipped in three days when they notified me of its arrival and subsequent shipping to me. Thanks, MSP.

The Mossberg 930 shell holder went together without any mods to my spx, very easy, and rock solid. The only possible issue in the future I can see are the rubbers that hold each shell wearing out. It holds the rounds firmly yet allows for quick, smooth access. I recommend this carrier.

Great Mossberg 930 side saddle...came with all the needed parts and fit perfectly. I like that Mesa includes a buffer pad to protect the guns finish and prevent rattling and vibration. If I had to make one complaint, it would be that no thread locking compound was included.

Got a notification saying that the shell carrier I purchased was not in stock. I believe I still paid for it and asked for it to be shipped once you have them. I believe my statement shows I was charged 299.99 With that in mind, will I still be getting the carrier? Thank you and happy new year! Ben
