Magpul AFG1 Angled Foregrip
The Magpul AFG-1 is not like any other old foregrip you’ll find in the market. The name stands for angled foregrip, because of its particular triangular design. This foregrip uses a three-piece design and is extremely easy to adapt onto a Piccatiny 1913 rail and takes up a minimum of 5” on it. It comes in four unique colors: Black, Dark Earth, Foliage Green and Olive Drab, to suit your weapon’s style and your camouflage.
With the use of the Magpul AFG-1, the operator has his hand high on the centerline of the bore, which immediately means less recoil and far better control, improving steadiness aiming and the operator’s fatigue levels.

I used this Magpul AFG1 foregrip because I wanted to achieve the unification of the grip (pistol and rifle). I have installed this AFG1 foregrip to leapers aluminum quad rail of my AK-104. It was necessary to get used a little to this AFG1 foregrip, but subsequently it has completely justified my expectations. * Ergonomic * reliable * Quickly you get used * good grip * Doesn't disturb to a reload Kalashnikov series rifles

Very nice product, although if using it with the Magpul handguards, some tweaking is required. If you slide the AFG all the way forward on the Magpul handguards, the rail slot does not quite match up with the screw hole—it is about a millimeter off. I was surprised that the AFG didn't fit better with the handguards since Magpul makes both, but it only takes about 60 seconds to shave off the front two corners of the rail guide on the AFG (see the picture…you'll have to look close to see the modification since it is not much plastic that needs to come off). Once that little issue is remedied with a sharp knife (make sure to cut AWAY from your body, btw!), the AFG fits very nicely and looks awesome!

This item is so much better than any AR vertical foregrip that I have used. It is very comfortable, easy to install. The lock-tight is supplied on only one of the screws, so I just used clear nail polish for the other two. I highly recommend this item for women, as it made it easier for my wife to hold her rifle up for an extended period of time. Magpul, you have a good item here.

First off, the Magpul afg1 angled foregrip super easy to install and modify. I removed the index finger ledge and put the smooth one in. Little funky at first, but a couple of minutes of adjusting my hold and the position of the grip on the rail, and it was easy to get used to. The only thing that is still bugging me is the length of the grip. Not the length on the rail, but it feels like the angled part of the grip could be a little longer to fit the whole palm and fingers without the pinky hanging off. Other than that, as stated in other reviews, it looks good, it's tough and a great accessory to your AR platform. Don't hesitate on this one!

I ran the vertical foregrip stubby for a while but found it tiring after long sessions. I swapped to the angled foregrip, and I found to be much comfier in all positions. It's built well, and I highly recommend it.

The Magpul AFG1 is the best-angled foregrip on the market, yes better than the Magpul AFG2 because it includes a resting point for your thumb. Fits tightly feel solid, clean lines, and it doesn't have a tacky curved look like a lot of other foregrips.

The Magpul AFG-1 feels wunderbar. I also love the fact I can place my index finger over the front of the Magpul foregrip to push it against my shoulder. It was effortless to install — great product I would choose this over many different types of the foregrip.

The best AR-15 angled foregrip you can buy. Yes even better than the AFG- 2 AFG because it adds a spot to put your thumb. Fits tightly, feels solid, sharp lines, and it doesn't have a tacky arched look like a number of other ar-15 foregrips.

Works good and feel natural in multipul positions. The finger shelf can be replaced according to discription. It has no instuctions on performing this option. The grip may need to be split in half to change the finger shelf. I did not change mine cause I don't want to damage it.

Never rec'd product, ordered on 03/19/12, waited 2 weeks and heard nothing from MSP. I finally contacted them and they said it was on Back Order. Would have been nice if the would have let me know that. Ordered from competitior had it in 3 days at lower cost .. Excellent product
