Works as described. Holds bipod perfectly.

I put this on my mini-14 target rifle. The gun is very heavy, but the mount held the bipod very steady. My rifle did not come with a sling loop on the swivel stud, so i had to put one on myself. Make sure your rifle has a loop before getting this.

I have used this adapter on a couple of mini14 rifles. If you desire to use a Harris-style bipod and if you do not desire to have the stock drilled for a sling stud, then this adapter is a must. I must admit, the first time I used this adapter was 20yrs ago on a Ranch model, and it worked very well. I recently purchased another for my son's Target model. This adapter is not a direct fit for the target model. The Target model does not have the sling loop installed and a more slender front end on the stock. A little internet reading and a cotter pin was the solution. Works well and simple solution. Some day maybe Ruger will figure out the issue and put a sling stud on the bottom of the fore-end.

Attached easy and is removable without leaving any marks. It is only for Ruger mini 14 and Ranch 30

I put this on my mini target and it was super easy to install snugged right up and allowed me to mount my bi pod without any problem whatsoever

I have this on a 580 series Mini-14. The U.S. military uses these. It has a front swivel stud.

This adapter works very well. The installation is straightforward to do and uses the sling eyelet as one point and the gas block as another. It is pretty solid, but the end lifts off the forearm stock when you tighten the set screw to secure the adapter. There is a replacement sling point on the adapter, so you can still attach a sling after all is said and done.
