Great Rifle bipod.
Like how tall it can get, I have used these for years. Harris Bipod is a solid company and builds quality. I wish it was a bit lighter and quieter to engage/disengage. Better for long-distance hunting or shooting.
Harris bipod
Well-built equipment with stable support. Suitable for use to stand at a shooting table or from sitting on the ground (not in a chair) position. 13+ inches is strictly for very high-angled shots from prone.
I got tired of swapping it from rifle to another' though it is simple and easy to do
This was my second purchase of this particular harris bipd. I got tired of swapping it from rifle to another' though it is simple and easy to do. I really like them. Their rugged construction make them steady and reliable in the field. I have taken various game with them from a kneeling, sitting , and/or prone position. But possibly the most useful feature of this pod is that when you need to rest your gun, just simply flip the legs and set on the ground beside you. In my state, it is illegal to prop a loaded firearm against a tree which is an unsafe practice. There is no question in my mind that bipods are really useful and Harris bipods are second to none in my opinion.
Everything I expected
I considered purchasing a lower priced bipod and looked exhaustively through different models and reviews; in the end, I ordered this harris bipod, and so far, it is everything I expected. I have a heavier rifle, and something prone to collapse (which the other reviews prominently covered) would not have been acceptable.
My husband loves his Harris Bipods
My husband loves his Harris Bipods. He is a sniper for an SRT team and has one on his swat gun as well and was thrilled with the one I got him as a gift for his hunting rifle.
Well built
I use this bipod for hunting with all of my high powered rifles. When a solid hold is "a must" for a decent shot, look no further. Harris outperforms the other brands, and the price isn't too much higher. I'm 6'2," and this bipod gives me plenty of adjustment for a comfortable sitting position. Attaches to standard sling stud. Pull down legs, quickly adjust and BANG! I've used a lot of other brands, and their quality doesn't satisfy. Another example of the old rule, "Buy cheap, and buy twice."
