The CDM Gear MOD-C has been Discontinued and replaced with the ROC-12R
The CDM Gear MOD-C shotgun light mount is a superior, lightweight clamp (weighs only 1.8oz), small and compact enough to reduce your shotgun profile, so it reduces hang-ups and snags. Spaced between the barrel and magazine tube, it will not block your parallel peripheral sight picture. Manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum and hard coat anodized, it will not crack, break or shrink over time. CDM Gear offers a factory look with a low profile that doesn't need to be removed when stowed in a case or riding in a gun rack. The design makes for a cleaner look with fewer snags to worry about, giving you professional control of your weapon.
One tool for one bolt is all that is needed to attach and remove this clamp in seconds. Holds a 1" light. Comes with all wrenches and 3M polyurethane no slip grip pads to reduce movement under recoil. Includes a built-in nonrotational sling swivel cup for QD PB sling swivels that also hides the attachment bolt.
The shotguns below are suitable for these shotguns:
- Remington 870, 1100, 1187
- Benelli M1/M2/M4/M104 (not SuperNova)
- Mossberg 500 7 shot, 590 (not the 590A1 or 930 SPX)
- Winchester 1200, 1300, SXP

CDM Gear mod-c clamp shotgun flashlight mount
Solid shotgun flashlight mount for my Mossberg 590 7-shot. Holds my Streamlight ProTac HL-X 1000 lumen light in place. It has not shifted at all. The QD on the other side connects to my Magpul MS4 Sling with ease.

Installed in 10 minutes. Make sure to use the supplied pads. I had to wrap my Streamlight 88030 ProTac 1L flashlight with some electrical tape to get a proper fit with this mount, but the end result looks nice and seems to be an acceptable fit (i.e., no flashlight movement within the mount).
Not bulky and close to barrel. I like that
This MOD-C Shotgun Mount seems to be well made. Construction is solid and very well finished. It Fits around the barrel and mag tube. Overall I like it a lot. I choose this mount because I need the flashlight to the left of the barrel. It is also less cumbersome than other mounts and keeps the flashlight very close to the barrel and does not stick out too much.
Quality Mount with pads
This is a great mount. Very simple design, includes padding for the barrel and tube so it won't scratch the finish of your shotgun. Strong. My only complaint is that it uses 2 different size hex keys but whatever. It definitely holds a flashlight less than 1" in diameter, it cannot go bigger than that. The material is metal and good quality. I wouldn't call it light or heavy, just right for the sturdiness. Ofcourse I wish it was feather light but then I think you would need to go exotic like Titanium. It's a solid piece.
Customer Service is Awesome!
Waited a couple months on one part, since it was back ordered and had trouble getting shipment from manufacturer. I was about to buy from someone else, but ended up sticking it out, as Anna kept me updated on when they would receive the product. Anna was great and answered my emails within a few minutes. Couldn't be happier with Mounts Plus.
I ordered this item on 3/10/13, after the sight allowed me to proceed with the purchase. The next day I got an e-mail stating that it was on back order. I have sent several e-mails requesting an update on the time frame, with NO REPLY! This is the one that I want & don't want to cancel the order, but a little customer service would be nice. I'm willing to wait for the one that I want, but answer your e-mails.
Maybe this should go to customer service? The order arrived but the CDM MOD-C mount had a hand written "Item in back order" I was billed the full amount, but no date to expect the item. Should I start looking for another source or will the item be shipped soon? Thanks in advance for a reply. SJR

Simple & works
I put this on my 870 home defense gun. Simple install and made with quality material. Nice touch on the pads to protect the gun's finish. I mounted a Brownells tactical flashlight in it and it makes a low profile package. I just touch the end cap of the flashlight to light it up. Easy to reach with my thumb, no wires or pressure pads. And no bulky forearm like the Surefire.
been waiting for over a month for mounts that were listed as available for purchase. called in when did not receive them with the rest of my order, said will ship in 2 weeks max. again 4 weeks+ later and still no mounts.
