It's well made and has pic rails on right and left side however the "wings" that cradle the barrel do not allow for barrel removal. Mount must be loosened or removed to disassemble gun for cleaning. Not ideal if you decide to mount anything that requires zeroing.

I purchased this clamp to mount my 870 with a Wilson Combat/Scattergun Technologies extension. The extension itself doesn't necessarily require a clamp, but I wanted added stability and a convenient way to attach a light. The CDM clamp exceeded my expectations and was very easy to install with the included instructions. Its wide clamping area provides a strong hold, unlike other clamps, such as Remington's, which have a narrower clamping area. Additionally, the split section on the top allows for compatibility with a ported barrel or rifle sights without interference. Overall, this is the best shotgun clamp available on the market.

I had no issues attaching this to my Mossberg 930 with the extended Nordic magazine. To prevent scratching the finish on the barrel and magazine, I applied black electrical tape to the inside of the clamp. It's important not to overlap the tape but rather to start at the end of the clamp and add additional pieces of tape where the last one ends. Some people may be concerned that the tape will melt if the barrel gets too hot, but it's important to note that electrical tape is insulating that can withstand high temperatures. I've tested this by using the plus 8 shot Nordic magazine extension (which holds 8+4 in the magazine and 1 in the chamber) and firing as fast as I could multiple times, and the tape has not melted.

After a lengthy search, I finally found the CDM Gear ROC-12 light mount that seemed like a good fit for my Winchester SXP Defender with an 18" barrel. Despite not being able to find any reviews specifically mentioning compatibility with my shotgun, I decided to take a chance and order the mount. The mount arrived quickly and was packaged in a plastic bag with a cardboard top and a small Allen wrench. It took only a few minutes to install, and it fit perfectly on my shotgun. I had no issues attaching an Olight Baldr Mini to the mount, and the ROC-12 seemed well-constructed and didn't add much weight to my shotgun. I haven't had the opportunity to take this setup to the range to see how it performs after firing a few rounds, but so far, I'm pleased with it. The only thing to note is that if you have a small or short light like the Baldr Mini that doesn't extend down towards the end of the barrel, you may get a shadow on one side from the barrel (depending on which side you place the light). A traditional flashlight with a ring adapter may not have this issue, but I'm happy with my current setup. In summary, if you have a Winchester SXP Defender with an 18" barrel, the CDM ROC-12 light mount is a good choice for adding a light attachment.

I recently purchased shotgun light mount product for my Stevens 320 shotgun. Upon receiving it, I was pleased to find that it was well made and fit perfectly on my firearm. The only issue I encountered was that the threads were slightly rough, but I fixed this by running an 8-32 tap over them. I marked the mount's position on my shotgun before testing it at the range, and it stayed firmly in place even after firing multiple rounds of military-grade buckshot.
