The HD Night Sights were specifically created to address the needs of tactical shooters. The three dot green tritium night sight set’s front sight features a taller blade and an aiming point ringed in photoluminescent paint while the rear sight is outlined in black and features a wider U-shaped notch. This unique configuration increases visibility and quickens front sight acquisition—even in transitional lighting. Additionally, the front surface of the rear sight is steeply hooked to assist in emergency one-handed slide operation. Green tritium lamps are warranted for 12 years from date of manufacture.

- EVENLY DISTRIBUTED LIGHT FROM TRITIUM LAMPS: Each Trijicon® tritium lamp is capped with a sapphire jewel that helps evenly distribute the light and also acts as an additional layer of protection from puncture and cleaning solvents.

The name should speak for itself. All my guns, with the exception of 2 "one being a revolver" have these sights. The tritium is nice and bright in low light. One of the factors I consider even buying sights is. Can I rack my slide on my belt a rock, the corner of a barricade, or any hard surface? And YES, these sights can literally save your life. I wouldn't consider anything else.

Trijicon Night Sights are a mandatory upgrade for all of my handguns. I typically order the sights before I pick up my pistol. I had a gunsmith install these sights on my Springfield XD based on some internet searching I did, but I have also done the installation myself ... Glocks are especially easy to do! I do wish all Trijicon sights had the tritium green / yellow front dot outline, making it very easy & quick to pick up the sight.

If you have older eyes, you need these sights. The front sight pops, steeling in to the rear U notch making for fast acquisition and quick follow-up shots. And if that's not enough, they are night sights too..

I am getting older, and these sights are much easier to see in daylight but even more important in low light. I shoot faster and more hits on target in all light conditions. These sights are a significant improvement over the sights that came on my guns. Before I am finished, they will be standard on all of my pistols.

I put a set of these on my XD Subcompact 9mm that I purchased back in the mid to late 2000's. I love them, the front is easily picked up by your eyes and they are bright at night, but not overpowering.
