Samson SXT Handguard - AR-15 M-lok handguard
The NEW SXT Series Handguards feature a free-floating AR-15 handguard with an M-LOK® attachment system. The simple clamping system uses two cross bolts that fit into the barrel nut for rapid and easy installation. (The old SXS Series clamping system used a bias block on the bottom to secure the forearm to the barrel nut—which required knurling).
Standard SXT Series Handguards are available in lengths of 4", 7", 9", 10", 11", 12" and 15".
Includes: Hex wrench, barrel nut, and barrel nut wrench

The Samson Mfg handguard features an improved barrel nut attachment point, allowing for a free-floating design. The attachment screws are located on the side for easy access when assembling or disassembling the rail. I am a big fan of the Samson Mfg rails and have them on every rifle I own.

I purchased the Samson SXT to upgrade my M400 TREAD. The TREAD is known to be difficult to upgrade. However, the SXT handguard fit perfectly. The installation process was straightforward and the handguard blended seamlessly with the rifle. The SXT handguard addresses the major issue with the stock Sig handguard which requires a small Picatinny rail to mount backup iron sights and the sights sits on different planes. However, with the SXT handguard, the sights sit in complete alignment. The Samson handguard works with the existing barrel nut, although the package comes with a nut and the wrench to install it, and installation took less than 5 minutes. The side screws and the bottom set screw make for a secure fit. The customer service from Samson was also very responsive, I received a reply to my email question within 12 hours. The product is outstanding in terms of fit and finish. I also appreciate that the Samson logo is discrete, unlike other brands that turn the handguard into a billboard advertisement. The SXT handguard is the best upgrade I have found for my M400.

I purchased this Samson SXT handguard for my CA compliant Sig M400 as the stock handguard is not good. I was pleased to find that it fit without needing to replace the barrel nut. Installing it was as simple as removing the stock handguard and slipping on the SXt, then tightening the screws. On my specific AR, the barrel nut is the same, I cannot confirm this for all ARs. I am delighted with the SXt handguard and would highly recommend it over the stock Sig M400 handguard.
