Sadlak M1A scope mount
I purchased this Sadlakscope mount for my M1A. It is fairly easy to install if you have the right tools and follow the instructions. However, on occasion, when you fire a round or two, the empty caseing bounces off the bottom of the scope mount back down into the chamber, thus creating a problem. I do not know how to eliminate this problem, other than buying a gen.4 Springfield mount...
Exactly What My Husband Needed Plus
This M1a Mount has quality construction, and they even provided two hex wrenches, and Lok-Tite toe facilitate installation. The installation was easy, and he would recommend this item to fellow shooters.

Nice scope mount
I like this mount. It sits about ¼ inch lower than the Springfield Armory. Neither mount fits my M1A receiver perfectly but I can send the mount back to Sadlak and the can modify the mount to improve the fit (they make their mount for GI spec receivers and recognize that most after market receivers are close, but not quite spec). I like that they offer this service. I also like the mounting method a little better.
Sadlak, need I say more??
As solid of a mount as you can get in my opinion. Have several and would use more without thinking about it. Buy once, cry once...
The right answer
This style of mount came highly recommended by a buddy of mine that was a sniper in the military, and I can see why. Instructions were alittle intense for someone with little experience with this critical of a mount installation. Don't misunderstand... I highly recomend this mount and would do it again. I have the scope roughed in and have not had a chance to finish sighting the scope in, but hope to do so soon. If its not right, it will be my fault... not the mount's.
Sadlak M1A/M14 scope mount - steel
I have used a few scope mounts for M1A type rifles. This is the best mount I have found. Two of our rifles have Sadlaks on them. Well worth the cost.
Fits like a glove on my Springfield M1A Loaded. The instructions are very detailed.
