    Primary Arms 1-6X24mm SFP Rifle Scope GEN III - Illuminated ACSS 5.56 / 5.45 / .308 Reticle

The Primary Arms 1-6x24 second focal plane scope (Gen III) features our exclusive, patented Advanced Combined Sighting System reticle. Bullet drop compensation, wind holds, moving target leads and range estimation are seamlessly integrated into an easy to use, instinctive sighting system that is very fast from 0-300 yards and very accurate from 300-800 yards. The second focal plane design keeps the reticle the same size at all magnifications for quick acquisition at low power and advanced reticle functionality at 6x maximum power.

We knew our flagship Gen II 1-6x24 would be a tough act to follow, so we worked hard to make incremental but real improvements. The Gen III is 18mm shorter (10.04in long), weighs 1.88 ounces less (16.9 oz. total), and has an additional 10 MOA of internal adjustment compared to the older model. The ACSS® reticle has also been improved, now featuring a chevron center aiming point rather than a dot.

Pleasantly Surprised and Quite Impressed with the primary arms 1-6 acss

First, I'm a bit of a scope snob. Not because I'm independently wealthy, but because I've always lived by the "buy once, cry once" philosophy. If the scope didn't start in the $800 range, I didn't give it a second look. I didn't want to replace it in a year or end up wishing I'd paid a little more for better glass. What good is an accurate rifle if you can't see through the optic? I also discounted Chinese-made scopes contracted out by companies that were not in the scope-making business (think Vortex, Leupold, Burris). I now own a primary arms 1-6 acss and red dot.Primary Arms has put all these reservations to rest! Is the glass or eyebox as lovely as my $1000 1-6x FFP scope? No, but it gives it a run for the money, and is $700 cheaper! I am thrilled with this scope. So, if you were like me agonizing about whether or not this scope was worth spending your hard-earned money on, DOUBT NO LONGER!

This is my first variable-power scope. My go-to optic has been a Vortex Spitfire 3x up to this point. After reading and viewing reviews, I chose this over the Strike Eagle, and other scopes costing exponentially more. I mounted it on a POF Renegade+ with an AmDef Recon mount. Took it to a 4-night rifle class. Amazing results! Hitting steel at 400 yards, headshots at 50. Good eye relief for fast target acquisition. I'm near-sighted and keep the power at 3x most of the time. The scope is awesome.

After seeing a review about this primary arms acss scope on YouTube by 'sootch00', man, it seemed a natural choice for my new purchase Ruger AR-556. I am a new shooter, sport, and target only as I do not hunt since Viet Nam but I can't wait to get it on the rifle and use it. I researched several reviewers on YouTube, and everyone seemed to have the same thing to say - Great scope/excellent quality !!! That made the deal for me. I would give it a very high recommendation, but, I have not yet got to use it. Especially for someone my age of 70 with less than perfect vision
    God Bless

Bought the primary arms 1 6x24 scope a few weeks back, tried it out today, fantastic results. This is a do it all optic. Up close, it works like a red dot. One hundred yards or more, it works like a scope. I will be buying more of these for the rest of the Ar's in my house. Don't hesitate to buy it before I do.

I got to use this optic on a BCM AR15 in a charity match and was very impressed with it. We were engaging 6" or 8" plates from 250yds out to 326yds. The reticle was very easy to use and very accurate with the suspensions. The illumination was very crisp and clear, as well. I am strongly considering this optic for my AR. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that I don't have much time behind the optic. However, Primary Arms always has excellent customer service and super fast shipping.

This scope sets the Standard for a 1-6x scope. The glass is clear and crisp from 1x to 6x. The reticle is easy to see and use. The price point makes this a no brainer decision. Shipping was quick, packaging was great. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer with Primary arms.
