I spent a considerable amount of time searching for the perfect addition to my long-range hunting rifle. The ATACR stood out with its robust construction and exceptional optics, along with precise turret adjustments. The MOAR reticle is easy to use, with a floating center crosshair that catches the eye. I chose the second focal plane option, which provides a clear view at close range and precise targeting at longer distances. The scope comes with a sunshade and top-quality Tenabraex lens caps. Optics Planet offered the best price and quickly shipped the product, with the cover box packaging being the best I've seen from any sporting goods retailer.

As an inexperienced shooter, I haven't had a lot of opportunities to try different high-end optics. But, I have to say, the Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 SFP stands out to me as the clearest, crispest, and brightest among them all. The ZeroStop function was easy to use, and the illumination feature was a great touch. I was hitting targets from 300-700 yards on the first try, even in challenging wind conditions. The weight of the scope is noticeable, but that's a small price to pay for the quality construction. I'm pleasantly surprised by the performance, but I was disappointed that it didn't come with a bubble level or a better cleaning kit. If all of Nightforce's scopes are of this quality and performance, I'll be a customer for life.

I was hesitant to spend over $2,500 on an optic, but I took the leap and bought the Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56. My first high-end optic was a Swarovski, which has nice glass, but it didn't bring out the best in my firearm if I wasn't consistent with my cheek hold. However, the Nightforce forces me to get behind it the same way every time, making me a better shooter. This purchase has been the best decision I've ever made. If you want the best out of your rifle or a high-end AR 30 (I have a .300 win mag AR), this is the scope you need. It ensures that I get behind the scope the same way every time, which helps with accuracy, and it never loses its zero. That's why the military uses it. Although it is heavy, its weight is worth it if you want precision. I'm now looking at putting one on my high-end AR 10 as well. I like to get the best out of my firearms and this scope makes me a better shooter. I don't need to look at any other brand, as the Nightforce has won me over for life. If you want to be the best you can be, this scope will get you there. I want to put one on every rifle I own so I can get the best out of each firearm.

My shooting experience has been forever changed after shooting a 1/2 inch group at 400 yards with the Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 riflescope. They express amazement at the accuracy of the scope and regret that they didn't have access to it earlier in life. Be warned, do not to look through the Nightforce scope if they don't have a lot of money, as they will inevitably realize its worth and want to purchase it. I believe that with the confidence the Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 provides, they would have married the best-looking woman in the world if they had access to it earlier.

Choosing between the Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 riflescope and "The Beast" was a difficult decision for the writer. The Beast offered a first focal plane (FFP) reticle and a high-speed turret, but was over $1000 more expensive. The writer ultimately chose the ATACR as a second focal plane (SFP) reticle was not a deal breaker and the high-speed turrets were not necessary for their shooting needs. Upon receiving the ATACR, the writer was impressed by its solid construction and clear image quality. The MIL-R reticle was a standout feature, with its crisp lines and precise milling reference. The low light performance of the scope was also noteworthy, but the illumination activation was not to the writer's liking. The turret adjustments were precise and free of any slop. Overall, the writer believes that the Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 riflescope is a top-performing optic and will provide a positive shooting experience. They plan to update their review as they gain more experience with the scope.

Granted, my shooting experience is not as wide or deep as I'd like, but I've looked through all of the higher-end brands, and this model of the Nightforce line was more clear, crisp, and bright than its competition. The ZeroStop function was simple to use, and the varying intensity of the illuminated reticle is a nice feature. Was hitting 300-700 yard targets right out of the box in decent winds. It does carry some heft, but that's part of the price for quality construction. Considering its performance ability and cost, I'm a bit surprised that NF doesn't include a bubble level or a better cleaning kit. If NF's other scopes have the same quality and performance, then they've got a customer for life here.

This is my third NightForce scope purchase. Each scope I've purchased has been fantastic and top in its class in my book . I mounted them on a .308, .300 win Mag and .338 lapua. Each time the scope complemented the gun made me confident with each shot. I wear glasses with stigmatism and can see clearly.

This Nightforce Atacr scope has an incredible quality that you notice immediately after pulling it from the box. I have always been a Vortex guy, but for my latest rifle in.300rum, I am glad I chose the NightForce. No to take anything away from Vortex, but the overall feel of the scope is as good as it can get. The clarity of the glass is excellent, and the reticle is awesome too. Very satisfied after sighting it in, and I cannot wait to hunt with it this fall!

Bought this Nightforce ATACR 5-25×56 for a new Rem 700 Sendero build in 300WM. With a jewel trigger and this scope, the rifle is just as imagined. Scope is solid and tracks well. Well worth every penny. Some companies have a lifetime warranty because they are bound to break but this scope is solid and built to last. Save up and wait to buy nice optics like this or better.

I was going for the next 30mm tube, but after reading a review about the 34mm letting in more light, I too decided to go with this ATACR 5-25X56 scope, boy am I glad i did, this thing is fantastic, got the moar-t reticle and could not be happier!!!!!!!!!

This is the second long-range scope I purchased in a month, and I can say this scope beats the Steiner T5xii 5-25x56, in my opinion. Brighter, clearer, more compact, and the same 25 magnification is more powerful in the Nightforce. Love the looks of this scope, the top quality it was put together. I will purchase Nightforce products as soon as I can afford the next one.
