Nightforce ATACR 5-25 Overview

Nightforce Optics has introduced two new Advanced Tactical Riflescopes (ATACR) with reticles in either the First Focal Plane (FFP) or Second Focal Plane (SFP). The SFP version, the Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 Enhanced Riflescope, is designed to meet the needs of both military snipers and civilian long-range shooters. With optimized reticle designs, improved reticle placement, and other enhancements, this scope is a top choice for tactical shooters.

The Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 SFP Enhanced features Hi-Speed adjustments with patented ZeroStop, increments in either 30 MOA per revolution (.25 MOA) or 12 Mils per revolution (.1 MRAD), capped windage adjustment to prevent accidental adjustments, DigIllum digital reticle illumination, parallax adjustment with marked distances, fast diopter adjustment via XtremeSpeed thread, integrated Power Throw Lever (PTL), and enhanced engraving. The scope also boasts a large 34.9 Mil or 120 MOA elevation adjustment thanks to its 34mm body tube. The scope is equipped with fully multi-coated ED Glass for excellent light transmission, clear images, and bright colors. The 5x to 25x magnification range and wide field of view make this scope a versatile tool for any shooter.

The Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 SFP Enhanced is 14.3 inches long and weighs 39 ounces. It has a 90mm eye relief, .250 MOA or .1 Mil-rad click value, parallax adjustment from 45 yards to infinity, exit pupil diameter from 10.52mm to 2.28mm, 25x Calibrated Ranging Power, 44mm eye piece outer diameter, and internal elevation and windage adjustment ranges of 120 MOA and 60 MOA, respectively.

This riflescope is available with three reticle options: MOAR-20 MOA, MOAR-T, and MIL-R-5 Mils. The MOAR-20 MOA is ideal for smaller targets at long ranges with its 1 MOA elevation and windage markings, floating center crosshair, and 20 MOA scale below centerline. The MOAR-T is a finer version of the original MOAR with .0625 MOA lines, 1 MOA elevation and windage markings, and center illumination. The MIL-R-5 Mils has .5 Mil and 1 Mil divisions for rangefinding and holdover estimation.
